My HS 20 year, well 23 years because of covid, reunion was tonight. Great to see my classmates that I haven't seen for a long time and catch up with some old friends. I think I'm the only one at the reunion that has a boat.... its mostly a surf town.

I think we both went to Tesoro? I was 07 and nothing happened at the 10 year. There was talk of having it at Oso Jack. Lol

El Dorado '08 for me. I dont think I knew anybody at Tesoro but did have a handful of friends at Trabuco

I'm an Old Dog. Youngsters! Brandon, youngest. Orange Glen, '09. Last Kid's to play on grass.

Escondido '74. Adult School. Lol. Same HS, at night. Same diploma, same year. Not the only one working FT.

Homecoming King and Queen, '73, those two were HS high society. Admired them. He was working construction in 1974 too.

Ran into him on the jobsite, spinning lots on a tractor with a Gannon scraper.

That was about it for a reunion, Boys!
Dominate Gentlemen.

The wife and I graduated same year and school and had made most of the reunions up to 45, and had planned on going to the 50, but covid cancelled that. So the 50 takes place this year, but in the meantime with covid and other world and US problems, it becomes quite clear the organizers are a bunch of liberal woke fucks, so we said fuck it as well as about 10 other couples we still have contact with. I doubt this clowns even have a clue why they only had about 25-30 people instead of 50. We're done, only a couple people I would have liked to see anyway.

I didn’t go to my 10 year….but my 20 year is coming up.

Fuck life goes fast
I haven't been to any. My 30 is coming up in 2 years, I might go.

Our class president died in Jan 2020 planning our 25th, a couple people were able to put something together last minute and held it a couple weeks before lockdowns

My 20 year was the only reunion I went to, I got to hang out with my best friend from high school who I never see any more.

When the thing was wrapping up two nice looking gals from our class approached us as we were standing in the hotel lobby,

we looked at each other and said "that never happened in high school" lol, I guess we cleaned up pretty good!

Went to my 10 and 20, 30 was this year but missed it, kids go back to school when the reunion is held.

Don't know if I'll make another, the last one was by accident and I didn't get an invite to the 30th. If I'm still kicking I might show up for the 50th just to see who is still alive.

With social media it has been so easy to keep up with people lives that the whole point of a high school reunion is pointless.

I mean if I really wanted to hang out with someone from high school I could just message them.

Went to my 10, 20 and 30 year which was 7 years ago. Had a great time. Was surprised how few were still in OC and moved out of SoCal before things got so shitty politically. Nice to see how well 1980’s women had taking good care of themselves or only the ones that did showed up to the reunion 😂

that's where all the good looking girls went to school when I was a kid. I knew a couple ;)
There was a large group of hot ones there! I'm lucky enough to be sleeping with one now😂 It only took like 20 years haha

I disagree. I just went to my 20th. Graduating class of 320ish from what I truly consider a "small" town in Washington state. About 70-80 classmates showed up. It was a fantastic time, so much so, there is overwhelming support for a 25 year reunion. It was simple yet well planned and catered. The only gripe anyone had was it started too late (6pm) and ended too early (11pm). If I had to guess I would say 35-45% of attendees were living in town, and the rest travelled in for the event. The most impressive thing was how good everyone looked.

My wife and I thought the same about my reunion. Everyone looked really good.

I still live in the small county that I graduated from. I moved here my sophomore year. 89ish kids in my graduating class. My 30th would have been last year. I don't get the invites. Definitely pissed off the wrong all good though.

My son just started 7th grade last year in our county.
It's crazy how many people I went to high school with that are still around.
Principal and athletic director both graduating the year before me.
Figured out last summer my sons best buds dad was in my class.
Ran in to a dude yesterday that I hung out with. Our daughters run cross country and track together.
I kinda vanished from the county social scene at 20 years old.

If I went to 5 High Schools, does that mean I get to go to all 5?

La Jolla High 88'. Went to 10, skipped 20 to go to The Police concert and went to 25. No interest in going to any futures as most of my ex's go.

At 10 years everybody is trying to show how well they are doing. Egos running wild

At 20 years a few kicks to the nuts humbles them a bit. Lot more realistic converstions

My 50th is coming up and I really have no desire to see classmates after this long. I keep getting notices but many of the names I haven’t a clue who they are.

Same. I went to my 10th, but skipped the rest, including my 50th which was 2 years ago. I wouldn’t have remembered anybody who would have showed up.

I walked away from my high school crowd about two years after graduation, when I was offered heroin. They’ve all lived nothing but sad stories now. No thanks.

I’m shocked, I would never have thought that all my acquaintances would start from school and throughout my life I would meet familiar people.
This is great...

Am I the only one that thinks this post is odd?

Is this AI along with all the other old threads that keep popping up with a new member on their first post speaking gibberish?

This is more annoying than the 40-60 gummy adds in the morning.

I'm one of the rare few that saw The Police at SDSU in the 80s & during their reunuion tour in Chula Vista 😎👍

Went to a handful in the past, my 40 :)eek:...!!!) is in Aug in NY, not sure if I'm going. I went to my 20 and haven't talked to anyone but one or two friends in the 20 years since then, so not sure if I want to go because there's a reason I haven't talked to most in 20 years - I really don't care...! I do keep in touch with people that I still care about, and I don't need a choreographed event with staged talking points to reach out to them.

Kind of why our school doesn’t do them. Ton of work and with social media you can keep up with who you want
