If anyone needs a set of rear paddles I need to sell mine. They only have four rides on them. I bought the wrong paddle then added more power to my turbo so these don't work for me. They recommend a #2 paddle for the turbo.

These are perfect for RZR 1000 or similar. Mine just spins them

STU Sand Blaster #1 paddle, 28-14. Rear Tires only for sale (no rims)

These are sold new for $600 for the rear set. I will let them go for $300.

I just scoured through the Rzr forums and I am worse off than I was before. Lol

It has me rethinking the entire wheel/tire combo. Definitely need to go with a 5/2 offset though..

5-2 is definitely the right way to go.
I waffled quite a bit between 30" and 32" but the decision was made easier because I found a screaming deal on a set of 5 new 30-10-15 Arisun Aftershocks on Raceline Ryno beadlocks. $1,170.00 for all 5.
I'll still consider 32's later but not without clutch mods.

That is a screaming deal.

I’m going forward with the clutch mods Monday. Then I will assess my Wheel option in the 15” 5-2 offset and go from there.

Really bummed I can’t get the 401-Machined. In the 15” 5/2 offset.

Seems like a lot of you guys are going with 30” tires. Any particular reason?

I went back to the 30's (still on a 15" method beadlock) because Tensor only offers 30 or 32". Your stock clutch is going to be vonerable with the 32's and you may see a loss in top end performance. The Tensor Regulator has been an awesome change up for me this season so far while running in Havasu. The Tensor Regulator will definitely give you a longer life (about 3X) than the Tensor RS.

Another thought that swayed my decision to the Tensor Regulator was its load capacity (aprox1600lbs), weight (39lbs) and it is DOT approved.

I did not put much thought into my decision after those few things.

But don't ignore,
Tensor Regulator, 15x30, 8 ply $200 per tire with hopes of getting 3k miles (15x32" $250)
Tensor DS, 15x32 $300 per tire (DS) and hopes of getting half the miles

don't get me wrong, I think the DS is a fly setup, but it was designed for racing. I am not racing.

That was my first set up a few years ago, the MSA M21, I liked them. Then got hooked on HiPer and Method.

Am I making a mistake going to 32” tire? Should I stick with a 30”. Also, your methods are a 4/3 offset correct?

From what I’ve read the 5/2 offset is the way to go. The 4/3 is bad for the geometry.

Any issues with your set up cruising the desert?

I’m still torn. A few people have said the 4/3 offset isn’t a big deal (throttle has 15” 4/3 offset no issues)and I can get away with 32’s.

yup, i might have 2000 miles on those wheels with no problems. the biggest reason I think you can swing the 32's is because you are upgrading your clutch. I don't think you can go wrong with either plan. lots of things work differently for each of us and our driving habits, patterns and behaivior.

32” tires are a big tire for a non-turbo car.. Tensor tires are heavy tires approximately 38 pounds 30 x 10 x 14

The stock Maxis tire is 30.4 pounds . I’m no expert but in my opinion A 32” is too big for a non-turbo Rzr

after a pretty good majority of us cutting our first stock maxis tire(s) on havasu trails and replacing it for close to $300 we can probably all agree that there are better tires on the market for all of our needs. Agreed, they are light in weight but not ready to take on the desert.

Agree 100 percent I’m running tensor tires I have about 3000 Desert miles on them with no plugs or flat. I was just trying to give my opinion on 32’s on a non-turbo Rzr.

I appreciate your insight. 9 pounds is a big difference. I also think the added weight the 15” wheel is something I have to consider as well.

I just want to make the right purchase as I only want to do this once and not have any regrets.

I am completely satisfied with my 15x30’s, no regrets. If you did go with the 30’s and the clutch, I think you would come out ahead. If you do the 32’s, you are doing clutch to make up for loss. The only thing we really didn’t chat about is clearance, obviously some ground clearance is gained but what about in the front fenders. Are you doing any long travel suspension? What about that KR2 we were talking about? Is it offered in a 31 like my old ko’s?

The KR2’s only come in a 30 and a 32, I did some more searching and the 32’s could rub.

What about 31x9.5 14or15 ITP Ultracross?

37lbs in 14 and 39lbs in 15. They also measure 31.2 inflated.

Lmk where you find a good deal. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on some 14" method 401s 5/2 and some 30s. Probably tensors, maybe maxxis liberty's.

I like the walkers but the 14s are a solid 4 more lbs a piece.

Still on the fence with the BFGs. Hearing a lot of mixed reviews.

You'll be happy with the 30", 32" is too big for a non turbo car. Also, dont worry about the offset, the Shock Therapy guys know their stuff, but are talking more to the "race" guys. In a car running WOT across the desert that math is HUGE, to the common offroad guy cruising around with his family, its not an issue.

THANK YOU!!’

Pulled the trigger on 15” 4/3 Method 401’s (Machined) went with tensor 30x14x10’s (DOT APPROVED) . They were better priced and I will get 3K plus miles out of them compared to the KR2’s that are a soft compound.

Also doing a clutch kit. New helix, rework the weights etc...

While I’m at it I had them do a quick release steering wheel kit.

The snowball is in full effect.

I’ll post photos in the next day or two when the wheels get in.

Side note 32” BFG’s are on back order until February

I read the mixed reviews as well and went with the tensors.

I probably could have got a better deal ordering online but I don’t want to be that asshole at the counter asking a 100 questions and then spending my Money elsewhere to save a buck or two.

I’ll share what I pay for the package of 5 tires and wheels.

The BFG 32 with the Method was almost $500 a tire.

The Tensor is significantly cheaper but I didn’t get a total as I added some “to do’s”

Here's what I weighed my set-up at.
Stock wheel w/ 29"x9" Bighorn front minimal wear = 39.8 lbs.
Stock wheel w/29"x11" Bighorn rear 30% wear = 42.8 lbs.
30-10-15 Arisun Aftershocks on Raceline Ryno beadlocks = 53.6 lbs.

So you ended up with 30's at the end of the day. That is what I will do when I do wheels and tires.

Ya. Talk about over thinking it! Lol

So much information out there. Throttle is the reason I ended up with a SXS. He’s gone through several tire combinations and went back to a 30” tensor from a 31” BFG.

I’m following suit as we have the same car basically.
