What a bunch of lightweights 🙄
I think there is a difference between driving for enjoyment/pleasure vs driving to make money there big dog! My 71y/o pops will drive 900/day doing transport work, but about 1/2 that with his RV.

I really dont mind driving, and my family is pretty good on road trips. We towed the boat from LOTO to just south of Albuquerque this last Saturday, was ~16.5 hours/~1K miles with gas stops and I40 traffic/accidents.

On our big 'round the country trip last summer in the moho we tried to keep it down to ~400ish per day, but a few days ended up more like 700. I think our longest leg on that trip was Columbus Montana to Silverton, Co. For me it really depends where I am going. Sometimes I would much rather spend the extra few hours driving, vs getting crappy sleep somewhere only to drive just as tired the next day.

Good lord.. I actually like to enjoy my vacations so I cut it at 5 hrs max.. and if it’s a long haul like around 5 we try to stay two days..

We have done tours up through Yellowstone.. and up through NorCal and back, and damn near hit everything on the way.

When I'm travelling in my RV I try to use the 4x4 Rule. (Stop at 400 Miles or 4:00 pm / Whichever comes first)
