RV rooftop inverter AC upgrade

Has anyone converted their old Coleman style 12-15000 btu RV AC to a new “inverter” AC/heatpump like the Turbro 13.5. Basically mini split tech (variable speed compressor) in a rooftop direct replacement?

Hopefully a review that includes the 115 degree summer heat.

What's the amp draw on the new style?

Seems the biggest problem along the strip is the power supply. Most can't run 3 units off a pedestal. If you could run 3 of the new ones instead of 2. Might be the way to go.

Variable 9.8 -16.9 amp. Plus no hard start and stops, they should run continuously with variable speed compressor and fan. Which should also be more quiet.

I watched a YouTube where a unit drew 400-1100 watts as it varied the speeds. Compare that to my airxcel Coleman 15btu that pulls 1600-1800 watts during a cooling cycle.

But I need some real world desert heat experiences before I would convert.

the trailer I'm renting has this done. but they are running off a 110 outlet for the split while the rest of the trailer is setup for 30Amp. Basically set it up for cattail cove since the park is primarily 30 amp hookup. I wont have feed back untillJuly, but in theory this is gonna be a cold trailer...

I have seen a couple youtube videos on that model and also a few of the new furrion 18k btu inverter ac never check price difference on the models but another option to look at
