I had a company come out and repair my awnings. Super cool to deal with and the dude knew his shit.

Brought the coach to the shop and they did it here.

Let me get their number.

Next step is replacing my torn awning.... got a quote for $400 bucks for new dometic awening installed. I watched a video on how to do it. Doesnt look to hard... anyone here done this?

That's cheap. I have been through several and did my own replacement the last time. It took me and a couple of my employees about 2 hrs to do my 14'.

The Dometic material was around $230 delivered in a long tube. There are cheaper materials out there though.

I sure you watched the same vids I did. Counting your "unwinds" is the only real challenging part and using a pop rivet gun.

Done! Russ is R&M very nice and knowledgeable. They pressure wash and scrub both roofs with some special roof washing chemical, painted flexi seal around all vents and joints as well as where the rubber roof meets the fiberglass cap. Then he takes 4 inch roll of rubber roof adhesive patch and goes over the areas where the roof meets the fiberglass cap and sticks it down and puts more flexi seal over it. Once thats all done he does 1 thick coat of roof sealer. Then washes your RV, armoralls tires and any black plastic. He even acid washed my chrome wheels and got most of the rust off of them. $375 or in our case $350 because we had two done at once.

I'm happy! Russ recommends that you have it recoated in about 4-5 years. If your looking for a guy to put 2 or 3 coats on your roof then you want to go with someone more expensive. For $375 if it lasts 5 years thats under 100 bucks a year to keep your rv roof in good shape. Thats fine with me! There was 3 guys working for about 3.5 hours on 2 RVs

Call Russ if your interested in a rv roof repair or detailing. Tell him Brian sent you so he will give me a good deal on a cut / buff for my trailer!

Yeah, I might just have him do it. He said he uses Dometic awenings too, not the knock offs. I'd have to go buy a pop rivit gun too if I were to do it myself. Plus a 24 pack of beer. Better off having it done for that price!

The Roof guys just left my place, Real nice guys, Showed up on time and cleaned up, I asked if they do cars and they washed my wife's car while they were here. I'm impressed all around with Russ and his guys. Let's see after El Nino comes thru.

At this point I would give their service and promptness

I actually jumped on top of mine Monday before the storm rolled in. 1st time I look closely at it since he did it in November and all looks good. All molding screws are nicely sealed as well.

I checked the motorhome last night, no leaks :thumbsup
I had a huge leak at the front over the cab before he came out and did the patch / re-seal. He did a good job!

I did see a small quarter-sized puddle of water under my front vent, but that is it. The vent is old, it may have gotten in through the plastic cover with the high winds. It rained 1.6" and fast in my area, and we had some pretty good wind gusts that stripped all the remaining leaves from the neighbors tree.

Im happy

Just came in from checking out my RV and as far as I can see all good, Dry!

I'm sure with the winds and as heavy as it was raining the ol tarp would have been blown away.

I'm having Russ detail my RV Monday. It's hard to find a good dependable detail guy and Russ sounds like he really impressed people on here. Thanks for his number Big Hova!

Yea he was great. I just checked my RV last week after the last rain we had again, and no leaks.

With RZR in back should level it out some. If it is to much with RZR I might drive work truck out for T-Day and can tow it out.

Its slamming my old half ton, that pic is with my boat receiver turned upside down making 3" higher, that might work nick, i would pay for you tank of gas to the river, i have 2 trailers i need to get there by turkey day.
