Trying to get a jumpstart on it this year. Looking to rent an RV for the NHRA Pomona weekend. These rental companies have gotten so out of control with the fees etc. Anyone have a private owner/off the grid rental that they know of? This will be the first year my wife and daughter join my son and I to continue the tradition so no more sleeping in my box trailer with no toilet!! Thanks guys.

My Buddy was doing it. He passed all 5 of them off to another guy to deal with. But still owns them. I will ask.

I have used share my coach in Chino when my rv lost a fuel pump. Made the reservation same day and they had us out the door pretty quickly at a reasonable price. These are private RVs that they rent out so they are nicer than the usual rentals you see.

I wanted to rent a small trailer to go to big sur in july but there was no one renting in oc and the fees and add ons for the places inland were just too much for a 5 day rental. I went to walmart and spent $300 on camping gear. May just buy something used in the winter

A couple of the peer-to-peer rental services like AirBnB have popped up in the last couple of years, not sure if the pricing makes sense on those or if it's gotten overly commercialized like AirBnB... Here's a couple, probably more out there...

We rented one from El Monte rentals in Redlands during nascar last February 2023 and with aaa discounts it wasn’t bad
