that's probably what he thought of you too[emoji23]
Probably so. LOL.

The short story is I heard some noise out there this morning. I go out and the owner driving off. I said what's up with the trailer? He said he just bought it, and it would be gone in a couple days. And drove off. He had a lady and at least 1 teenage girl with him that I can see.

Whatever. At least I know someone didn't just dump it off there. He needs to park it for a couple days, fine.

Turns out, that was only his first trip to the trailer of the day...

Damn....all you guys are "get off my lawn" old fuckers aren't you?

Here's a shock for most of you aparently.... if the trailer is legally parked on the street..... get over it. If its not following one of the municipal codes, give it a day and then report it. Don't be such a dick of a neighbor that nobody wants to have around or be around and.... I dunno..... be neighborly?

The point is that it wasn't neighbor. I don't really care that it was parked there. If one of my neighbors needed to park there, that's fine. The problem is that it just randomly showed up, and I knew it wasn't one of my neighbors, as I know them all. Plus I saw the guy before he parked there, and I had never seen him before, nor had I ever seen his car in my neighborhood.

I agree, if that was dropped in front of me the shenanigans would have started

ya that’s that lame part. You’d think the person would have the decency to knock on your do and explain the situation.

Dude..... what is your problem? I wasn't worrying about shit. Just sharing experiences and stories I have read on here. I laugh at the crap they deal with, until it comes to where it will effect my family that still lives there.

As it turns out, he doesn't even live in my neighborhood. Reading between the lines, I think he lives in an apartment complex a couple miles away, so no where to park it.

I would have been fine with him parking it there, if he had been straight forward with me.

Instead, it turns out he bought it to flip it. He came over to work on it twice, and showed it to potential buyers twice. Then he took it away after I had several conversations with him. He was being a dickbag, so I told him to get it out of there.

Again, had he been forthcoming and said what his situation was, I would have been fine with it.

Do you have time now? [emoji23][emoji23]
[emoji23][emoji23] it's a lengthy story. The cliff notes are in post 64.

To add to the cliff notes...

I heard someone out there in the morning, and went out to find the guy.

I asked him what's up with the trailer. He said he just bought it, and it would just be there a couple days because he didn't have room to park it in front of his house.

I asked him if he lived in the neighborhood, he said yes. I told him "Hmmm I've never seen you or your vehicle in the neighborhood before." He didn't respond.

I knew he wasn't being honest, he didn't live here. There are plenty of places to park it it the neighborhood. I know everyone that lives close to me, so there are plenty of places closer to his house to park it if he lived here. Plus I had never seen his vehicle before. But fine... You need a place to park it for a couple days, I'm ok with that. He leaves.

About an hour later I hear a saw and hammering. I go out and he is working on the interior. Has his slide out, and has his family with him. Another conversation takes place. Take it to your house to work on it. If you need to to bring it back and park at night for a couple days, Fine. I told him to make sure to put the slide in and the step in so it isn't blocking the sidewalk. I don't need to get sued because someone trips over it. He came back a second time to work on it.

Later, I hear him out there again, and he is showing the trailer to a potential buyer. They had a truck, so I thought, fine. He said he would move the trailer. They didn't buy it, and he left and left the step out over the sidewalk. I didn't realize my wife has stopped while driving by and said something about the trailer. (He didn't know she lived in the house. He told her he lived near by, not in the neighborhood.

He brings a second set of buys to look at it. By now I'm out of patience. Another conversation ensues.

About 30 minutes later I walked out there, and the trailer was gone. I don't know if he moved it, or sold if.

Like I said, I would have been fine with it if he was honest. He was evasive and had a "mind your own business" attitude when I asked him questions. He lied to me about living in the neighborhood. He also implied he bought it for himself. I even asked him where he was going to go on his first trip. He said he wasn't sure yet. When in actuality he bought it to flip it.

Once again had he been honest and said I have a chance to flip this thing and make some money, and I live in the apartments with nowhere to park it. This looked like a safe spot to park it. I would have said no problem.

In fact, I may have bought it from him. LOL.

It would have been a bigger deal, but when the first group looked at it, they had a truck backed up to the hitch...I figured with the used RV market, they were going to buy it. LOL. I had to leave while they were looking at it, he said it would be gone.

When I returned home, everyone was gone, but the trailer was still there. When he came back to show it again, I told him to get it out of there.

They either bought it, or he took it when they left.

It was a nice little 24' trailer.

Not really. This is the only one I took. LOL. I just wanted something with the name on it. LOL.

It was a Keystone Passport 2400BH (bunk house). Looked exactly like this, but a little less new looking.

Pretty funny, beginning of the year I had a nice 26ish footer class c show up in front of my house one night. Like in the middle of mine and my neighbors house, didn’t think much about it but I got a text from my neighbor asking where I was going? I was like huh?? Thought you were going somewhere? Nope... long story short I go back and look at my cameras and it showed up at like 1am and nobody ever came out of it!! Called the cops at like 7:30pm told them the situation and they showed up pounded on the door and sure as shit someone opened the door!!

cops left, couple hrs later moho left and never seen again. Weird shit

If it has a tongue lock chill. Someone just didn’t want it sitting in front of their house. RV storage is expensive lol
Could be this. I had a neighbor who thought our short culdesac was his personal storage lot. He brought a 40' 5th wheel home one day, in addition to his multiple vehicles parked all around the street. I walked over and told him (for about the third time for all the other vehicles he always had parked everywhere) get that fucking thing off this street, that will not be tolerated. A couple hours later it was gone. A couple days later I was walking my dog around the block and it was sitting next to a shity house on the corner. Initially I thought wtf? Then thought who cares, not my problem any more. It sat there for a couple months, unhitched, unmoved. Now he's moved up by the community dog park where I take Titan daily. I just wave n smile as I drive by. Their problem now...haha

People that buy rv's and park them in the street long term bug the shit out of me...lol

I understand a couple days to load/unload but you need a rental space or a side yard if you have a rv.

We had a guy that has luckily moved but at one time he owned 2 big ass motorhomes along with like 5 cars parked all over the grass and in front of neighbors houses.. Were talking 1980's southwinds and a crapbox converted greyhound. We all took turns calling and reporting him until they finally moved.

If someone parkrd a rv in front of my house for more than about 12 hours I would loose my shit...haha

About 10 days after the trailer deal, a truck showed up directly across the street from where the trailer was parked (a Nissan Hardbody mini). After 10 days of the truck not moving, I called it in...Stolen. WTF. LOL. Good news is the owner lived close. After the cops showed up and did their thing, the owner showed up and drove it away.

Cynthia needs a swift kick in the Sea-hunt🤣.
HOAs drive me up the wall. I got a letters from them for the most ridiculous things..."there are '3' oil drops on your driveway", and just like Cynthia, "your periwinkle shub has encroached the sidewalk by 3 inches".
No fuking joke🙄😖

Sissy has a Condo in Santee, long driveway. Pulled in the Durango with the boat attached. Perfect. Bound for San V in the morning. Neighbor on the Board was not pleased. 😒 Told him going up to the lake in the morning, he scowled and grumbled as he walked away.

So, finger wagging ensued, as I just had to climb in to go ahead and change the oil. 😆 Just had to.

HOA's < Positive
About 15yrs ago my mother moved into a really nice condo complex in her late 70's her first spring came around and she thought it would be nice to plant some perennial flowers between her place and her neighbors along a walkway. She had spent days doing so ya know amending the soil and what not all around the FWY plants that were part of the common area even thought it was along her walk way to her front door.

A day later she received a notice stating to the fact that she violated her CCnR's and the flowers must be removed immediately.

A month later she received another letter about her garage door that had been open for an extended period of time  though they the NAZI's could clearly see her working on arts-n-craft stuff in her garage during the day, so I would guess her time had allotted lol.

One summer Saturday afternoon im at the community pool with my kids I have a ice chest full of beer and im sitting at a table away from the pool deck watching the kids play in the pool. I have a Corona with a coolie cup completely covering the bottle a woman walks up and asked I if I lived here I said no my mother does then the lady asked "where is she"? I replied at the house making sandwiches "she grimaced and said there's no glass allowed in the pool area" I said Ohhhhh ok thanks and then walked away.

A few hours go by and a small group of people walk through the pool gate with folding tables and start setting up for a pool party right next to the pool one of them happened to be the lady that asked me earlier if I lived here. As they're setting up they pull out several bottles of wine and place them on the table 🤔 really ?
It was time to go packed up the kids and walked right by the tables looking at the lady and the wine bottles making sure we make eye contact 😒

F**k that cunt and those assholes as it turns out she's a city council member and lives in the complex so I guess rules don't apply to her and the other board members ehh. And everyone thinks RDP members are assholes 🙄

hate HOA's if you will, but for the most part I'm all for them. No purple houses in my neighborhood and oil dripping cars on jack stands either. Keep your migrant ways to yourself
Yeah but a dozen homemade Tamale's are still $15 and not $3 ea at Albertsons 😜
