RV Covers

So i am in the process of putting in RV parking at my house and saving the cost of storing my 5th wheel. HOA wants it covered with a manufactured cover. Looked on Amazon and read reviews on ADCO covers which were really not good, seems to last 6 months at best. I'm in Vegas so its gonna get some sun. Anyone have some suggestions on brands or experiences of brands to stay away from?

I bought a cover last year for my 5er. Camping world sells the Elements all climate brand. If you buy the 3 year warranty you can return it when it rips before then, because it will, and you only pay $100 for a new one compared to the 4 or $500 original price. They told me even if it's not ripped, tear it and bring it in for a new one before the warranty is up.
Mine lasted about 8 months before all the corners ripped. Not a fan of the cover though because it gets moldy under the top and stains the roof.

I had one and it wore the paint off all the corners of my motorhome. Dirt would get under it and when the wind would blow it would just sand away. I'm putting in a aluminum cover. If the HOA is fine with a cloth cover I would think a aluminum carport type would fly.

After the first time of trying to put the damn thing on you will change your mind Save the money and don’t buy a cover Build a shade structure if possible. There is another thread here that has some good info.

Get a metal cover, not the POS frame with a tarp. The later will blow around and the tarp will rot in ayear especially in the NV sun.

You may want to look at California Car Cover Co. (CALCOVER.COM) Phone: 800-423-5525. The are on Facebook, YouTube and other internet sites. The have fabric covers for cars, pickups, suv, RVs, Travel Trailers, campers, and more. Also, they have wheel/tire covers. Call them or go online and order a free catalog. Talk to there customer service people and tell them what you are seeking. I have ordered standard covers for my cars, and my dually (with camper shell) and wheel/tire covers for my cars, and trucks, and covers for my boat trailer. Check them out.

I would put up a free standing type cover but our hoa doesn't allow them
I had an Adco cover and I think it melted the glue on the roof. It had the reflective top but not enough venting
Yes covers are a pita. I buy a new one every year.
I wait till today and get 15% off ebay. I pay $120 a year.

Thanks for the heads up! Just bought one with that code, not bad for 125 bucks shipped. At that price I don't care if I have to buy a new one every year.

HOA wont allow it. or I would definitely go that route.
