Am I the only one that tends to believe Putin more than our own government?
Hmmm. I have seen more footage of this so called coup in the last two days
Then the entire Russia Ukraine war.

Exactly that’s what I’ve been saying. There was no real footage, just bullshit. There is all kinds of info about what’s going on in Russia.

There may well be something going on in Russia. But, it's unfortunate we have to rely on our major news media and/or portions of our government to provide the information. Each of those sources are at least a bit suspect at times.

There's lots out there, but who does someone choose to trust? Ours, Brits and a few others are lock step, but so are the other countries' agencies. It's almost as if you have to try and watch both, and see which answer is most plausible.

Or, try to avoid all of it, and just hope it doesn't effect our citizens:(

Crazy chit.. I'd say nothing good can come of this, but you never know. Seeing a legit start of civil war opens people's eyes real quick to how good they currently have it.

Trusting Russia’s state run media seems like a great idea. 🙄 Putin is just a good guy, trying to better his nation. I hope nothing bad happens to him.

My fascist uncle and I used it argue about what we did in Iraq, we don't talk anymore. We controlled that narrative and f'd it up. In this situation we "unless it's the CIA which definitely don't trust" are not involved and don't have any control over the outcome. I could not agree with you more.
I think we as a country have unfortunately "NOT" learned the hard way when it comes to betting on the Devil we thought we knew and then discovered we didn't.

Good guy, bad guy, it's all a matter of perspective.

Pretty crazy, how some of this can be followed in real-time.

Crazy how F'd up their alphabet is!

Is trusting our "fair and balanced" media really any better? They've really been spot on the past few years, and kicked it up a notch lately🤣

Prigozsin announced that he stopped to move towards Moscow, to stop bloodshed.;) It's all bs the western media reporting.
Besides, anyone think a mercenary group could overthrow the Russian military, just snapping their fingers, is naive at best.
I think both, Putin and Prigozsin know what they're doing. Smoke and mirror.

Wondering if this is a big version of Bakhmut. Prigozsin went on a tirade about the the Russian military, said he was pulling his troops out...then went on an offensive when the opposition let down their guard a bit. Basically allowed gains, then flanked from both sides. Don't know how this would work though...

When you move to Russia will you still be able to post on RDP? Do they allow that there? Can you stream any channel you want and watch what you want? You’re right, that state run media is great. 👍

Honestly, I do really like the nickname the Russians have given our fearless leader... "the self propelled grandpa"

I know your a fan of the current world here, good for you. I see what my friends post, from both countries that are allies, and not so much. Our media has protected this administration to an extent that has weakened our country, and made us the laughingstock of even 3rd world shit holes. I could care less if Putin or his chef run Russia...I think the guy at the DC ice cream shop could run this place better.

Go ahead, keep carrying a torch for Brandon...Lord knows he needs it, his lights aren't on.

What does Brandon have to do anything? All I’m saying is everything in this country is a thousand times better than Russia. 🙄

Was a 1000 times better during Trump administration too? 100 times would be right, but 1000 times is a bit of a stretch, don't you think? Our country of Canada is also 100 times better, but Turdo in Ottawa ruins everything for the average Canadian.;)

Anything that adds turmoil.to Putins day, I'm all for.
Apparently $10mill. in CIA gold was enough for the Wagoner guys......
Ashame.
Now, if China sends 100,000 troops to backup Putin...... then the shit gets real.

Some drink the CoolAid, some choose to think for themselves...I trust more what I see and hear from those I've met and known for years. Those who live in other countries, and used to visit here.

I implore you to think about this; you speak of other countries efforts to block sites and information, yet you honestly think the US doesn't do the same? Not only do they engage in such actions, but they also engage in disinformation campaigns down to the local level, all in the name of "security".

Placing one's trust in those that practice deceit as a profession, is possibly the downfall of this country.

I’m disappointed in him. I thought he would see it through. I liked his moxie. 😀
I would like to hire him to put the fear of God into some people 😀

I wonder how many of his family members are now dead or missing?
The Chechen (president? Leader? Dictator?), anyways, the bearded Muslim Russian guy, said that this was all Prigozhine being pissed off about a plot of land being denied his daughter in St.Petersburg. He and Prigozhine don't seem to like each other. Shocking, I know, they both seem so warm and cuddly🤣 He made it sound as if it were a powerplay to get something in a business deal.

Whatever the case is, it sounds as if the Belarusian president brokered the deal. Pretty sure he needs as much help as he can get, as the Poles are actively training, and openly calling for an invasion of Belarus.

Here's some interesting stuff. In 2021, Prigozihn started an NGO, "The Fight Against Repressions". Stated goal was to track "Russophobia" in western countries. The site used to show their "partners"....oddly enough, site was changed recently. Majority here won't be able to read most of the site. When it scrolls down to the "partners" section, most are in english, and a lot are Soros funded. Just more weird stuff...

Other than exposing weakness.

In Rostov-on-Don, where people are applauding and chanting 'Wagner is Power' as Wagner fighters pack up to return "according to plan." Wagner's "March for Justice" was a significant litmus test that shows whom Russians actually support.

After Wagner withdrew from Rostov-on-Don, protestors came out against the police, chanting "shame on you" and waving Wagner flags. Russians are now even more united in their view that the state is corrupt, cowardly, and inept.

It’s all too strange to not have been some sort of scripted event. No such thing as coincidence when international politics are in play.
There's a video from some random reporter in Rostov. Tanks are rolling in on lowboys, armored cars and troops with rifles wearing body armor...Red Dawn looking stuff. Yet, with all that going on, a janitor is sweeping up the gutter and sidewalk, broom and dust pan. The guy with the camera asked the street sweeper what's going on. Street sweeper keeps sweeping as he turns to the guy and says "I don't really know, but it must be going as planned." And keeps sweeping:oops:

On the other side of things, people were really worried about a coup attempt, and violence in Moscow. There are a couple videos showing non-military, construction types, using a backhoe to cut a trench across roads.

Now I wonder if Putin was using this as a ploy to remove Shoygui? Was Wagner in charge? Putin? The CIA?....is this the damn Russian version of the Truman Show?

Funny as hell though, over the course of 24hrs western media went from calling Wagner terrorists, to "Freedom Fighters" back to terrorists.
