Respiratory syncytial virus, anyone ever get it? What Rx drugs helped (if any). My wife has it, spent the day in the ER monday. Doc says that it has run its course. I've never seen her this sick.

major cough, chills, wheezing, hard time breathing......they gave her an inhaler (albuterol) and steroids

The lungs clearing up took almost 2 months.
The fatigue was the tough part.

All the best for a full recovery, it may happen slowly.

Without the inhaler I couldn’t shake it.

I couldn’t take a deep breath without coughing in addition to and unrelated I walk like Amos McCoy with a blown out hip and two blown out knees.

My parents are still trying to get over the flu that has been going around. They're on week 3 at this point and have said it was the most sick they've ever been. Their doctor put them on an antibiotic to prevent pneumonia.

My son got it when he was a one year old. My wife and I took turns watching him sleep at night for 3 or 4 nights. Doctor said too, incase he starts breathing heavy. Scary stuff.

it's a virus in the respiratory system, yes there is a separate vaccine for it
