It just sounds like Texans can’t take care of themselves and rely on others to provide simple things like heat...
lol. And you’re here in Texas witnessing this in person? That’s right, I didn’t think so. I’ve only seen Texans helping Texans get down to the business of getting things done. The media and those outside Texas all want Texas to fail.
People just can’t comprehend that a 100 year storm rolled through (2011 cold was not nearly as bad per people who lived through it) and the electric grid wasn’t setup for this extreme temps. Neither were pipes in houses nor was there any real assets to clear roads. You can spend billions to prepare for a 100 year storm, but then you’d have billions to spend on maintenance and upgrades for equipment sitting doing nothing for 99.9 years. Though I think some things should have been addressed in various systems.
