"All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely Players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts,"

As you said, the only difference is the stage, or scene, played by actors or politicians. We are their audience, deciding who's the hero or villain. We are also players, changing roles as our lives or surroundings change. As we change, the players on stage change, desperate to stay a star, for money and fame. "Improv" or well written script, the reactions are real because most players in the audience are independent.

Those who are most dangerous, are those groups that share a common script.

And now thanks to the Internet and Social Media, we can each carry our very own stage and camera crew with us wherever we go.
Being stars in our own shows, with a little imagination and charisma, we can plant a seeds of thought. A Seed for good or one that perpetuates evil, with the ability to attract like minds and the power of expanding group conscious to grow. 🤔

And yet we all tend be far more lenient with our judgements of any actor or entertainer's political intelligence if their opinions and expressed views align with our own.
A chosen few, who expressed views appealing to the many, were able to attain positions of towering political notoriety.
Are you suggesting Ted Nugent or Kid Rock’s political views are not worth some serious consideration? 😬

How is it that people can make any claim these days with no recourse? It seems like some of what Bobby D was saying was grounds for a lawsuit, but I'm no lawyer. It is crazy to me some of the things people are claiming on the political stage.

As an example in Montana, claims made by a certain candidate made me vote against him, not for his opponent. I fact checked the claims and they were lies, not even half truths. Bold face lies.

At what point do we just accept that we can no longer all be playing for the same team and just square up and duke it out? I've been a Libertarian most my life, but the left is making me hate. ( I don't recall ever voting for a democrat) My patience for being compassionate and understanding of the thoughts and views of others is wearing thin. I've got life long friends from the third grade that are forcing me into choosing a side; it won't be the side they are on. I'm finding I can't be in the same room, I might even be getting to the point I would turn them away.

It really sucks that we are being forced into a situation where we view our neighbors as enemies.

Awaking a sleeping giant seems inevitable.

There are two things that seem to universally evoke a negative response.
  • Feeling cheated.
  • Telling someone they can't do something.
The left seems to be getting pretty good at doing these two things to half the country. My once eclectic circle is getting smaller and maybe isolation is in my future.

Well I never, how dare you even suggest such a thought like that would even enter my conscious. 🤭 Next thing, you'll have the audacity to suggest that list was short a name or three. 🥴 😝

He and harry dunn (dude standing on the other side behind De Niro) are anti trumpers. Both were capital police (aka security gaurds) on Jan 6th and used that platform to propel their political aspersions Fanone wrote a book about Jan 6th and is now a contributor on cnn. Dunn is running for a political office in DC as a dem.

Both full blown TDS. Both political hacks.

Trump: “I never knew how small, both mentally and physically, Wacko Former Actor Robert De Niro was😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

and

"Today, De Niro, who suffers from an incurable case of, commonly known in the medical community as TDS, was met, outside the Courthouse, with a force far greater than the Radical Left - MAGA."😍😍😍😍

I expect that Biden's re-election people are in panic mode, based on every pole out there; and everything + the kitchen sink will be throw out there. This includes 'celebrities' with room temperature IQ's. Kind of like Biden himself 😂

I'm an oddity (in more ways than one). I wouldn't need to try very hard to piss off both sides. If you can't see both sides to an argument, you'll only repeat your own view, louder and louder. There is no common ground. The opposition are blatantly stating they want the other dead. I'll listen to anyone's explanation or reasoning, but hurling insults and screaming at me? That won't work.

History books will write of us "The two factions, during this country's demise, argued for many years. The actual failing was due to the laziness of it's people, too comfortable and complacent to be motivated."

Interestingly Gene Simmons actually gets it right at the end of this clip when discussing voting and celebrity opinions.

Maybe celebrities can have some good advice.

Libel and slander are not protected. You can be sued for it.

Also, as Sportin' Wood stated, the First Amendment protects you from the government taking action against your speech, not your fellow citizens. You are not free to just spew lies about people with no consequences.
