The new docks are in the water. Now they will start the structure so the Dock Bar is definitely coming back. Were at the river from the 17th on. I'll get some pics.

The "Trailer trash park" is just about gutted. Bunch of 2 story mobiles coming in there.

So I'm thinking at some point you can have that thought process back...unless it turns into a Pirates.

Anyone hear that the new dock got red tagged for not being built per the plans submitted? Hope it's not the case...

Laynee mentioned there was an issue, sounded to me like it will be next year before its all open. Not sure if pool is for owners or its like route 66 and for everyone. Oh well foxes it is, which has worked just fine last 45 years.

I was thinking the same thing but good point on the little ones. It also could be a better option for those wanting to cool off that are a little tuned up over jumping in the river with the current.

Yea I got a cure for that since i stay at echo so i always take wave runner, spot against wall were band sits is always open , but I here what your saying, need places to reopen, good for biz and competition that translates to nicer stuff for everyone to go to.

It was full Sunday. We took the skis. Good thing Jeff was there with a bunch of flatties. And they made room. One beach spot opened and within 2 minutes gone. Pat had to float the ski over a few ropes and squeeze between boats.

I think its cool, I personally thought Bluewater should've done it with the cantina to attract business. The pool idea in the docks at pirates was good in concept, but nobody used them and they were always dirty.
Gone are the days of the strip club at Sundance, foam parties and wet t-shirt contests.

Pool is being dug currently. I know there is an issue with the sea wall preventing the docks from being built on.

Well put it this way, new little tiny places at outlaws across river are going for 499k , 100k may get you a 1960's backrow beater at one of the parks.

They're building a total resort so to them its not just the bar and I don't know if money is their concern currently.
Thats their vision and they just keep working where they can on what they can.
Approx 20 tiny homes for like $400-500k each and can be rented using the onsite office for the owners that want to profit split.
That's where they will instantly cover their investment.

The dock bar will happen. They are trying to get the Army Core of engineers, La Paz County, and the city to connect on the issues.
That's the way I understand it.

They are selling them at Big Bend for very reasonable costs.

People are buying them and trying to flip them for 300k plus after adding built in BBQ's and shit.

Correct. Kitchen is up on the hard where last it was operating. Currently being remodeled.

You see the way the dock is attached to the seawall? That's how its always been, using the seawall as the anchor point. This has become an issue with someone.

Just drinks on the dock bar. I like this arrangement but like said wishing the dock bar could be bigger and more boat mooring.

I'm concerned about not being able to beach with all their planned beach cabanas and such. My wife will not step from the boat to any dock except the docks at Rockhouse. Terrified, absolutely terrified to exit on the actual river. Makes my life a bit difficult. That Hippity Hop gap is a huge nope to her, then add boat wakes and holy shit, end of the world.

This is why we don't go to Fox's unless I get beach lucky...like never.

Lot of the old seawalls in Parker are crumbling after years and years, maybe worried about that????

Obviously they aren’t letting you buy one and set it up, you gotta buy through them. No different than Bransons with all the new Cavco double wides. They are selling them for 275/300k and doubling their investment, They own the land, it is what it is.

Ya it’s never fun exiting a v-hull on the old Roadrunner docks. Mid day is a washing machine of competing wave tractors. Having the beach at RR was always nice for that.

Once in a great while I’d score a beach spot at Fox’s but it’s rare.

It’ll be interesting what they do with that beach. I forgot about the cabanas going in.

What about the docks near the launch ramp at Pirates in that back bay? Will she exit the boat on those?

That's exactly what they were doing at the springs When they first started! -- Couldn't buy the ground/space but ( they made some 30 rent year deals though! ) you could slab and bring in your Park model -- and of course sell for what you could get!

They might of RL was pretty strict back in the day, not sure about now. My neighbor kids lit up the managers as he was driving by with water balloons inside his cab, they were as close as you can come to being kicked out.

As I recall it was a fire works deal they tried to hang him on. It all worked out in the end.
