Riviera Slip for This weekend - getting the run around. Anyone want to rent a slip?

Trying to cancel my slip reservation and I missed the cutoff date of 7 days ahead of time. I’ve called 3 times since yesterday morning and they won’t let me know if I can get an exemption to cancel or move it to Another date or pay a cancellation fee. I have to cancel my hotel by today as well.

I get the feeling they are avoiding my calls to pocket my $300 or whatever I paid. I’d rather them tell me I can’t get my money back or let me give the reservation to someone else and recoup my money or at least some of it.

So does anyone know if it’s transferrable or does anyone want my slip for the 3 day weekend?

They are horrible at answering the phone. I have called close to 50x times regarding questions and have never actually reached a person.

I've never had to call there before. Always had a pleasant experience in person. It's a nice facility. You guys are correct though on answering phones...
