Had to meet with one of the main guys from the riviera today, so I figured I’d share some pics of the new marina.

Couple of quick pics of the new C Store. They will be selling alcohol and cigarettes soon. They have pretty much everything you could want otherwise though, even wakeboards and ropes etc..

It’s all new and first class.

They have real deal docks down here! The locals aren’t gonna know what to do without having to worry about nails sticking out or cleats ripping off.. lol. Whole different experience.

Plus fuel stations are open. To my knowledge it’s the only one selling non ethanol 91 on the water.

I’d worry about gas sitting too long in those tanks , gas does have a shelf life . Most smart people will buy gas in town and save almost $3.00 per gallon .

It is not a state park pass though. It is just to the Riviera.

Everyone should buy the Riviera pass :)
🤷🏼‍♂️ Everyone gets fired up on the state park pass. We boat the river mainly and when we get nailed for the $20 at steam boat or the south side of the lake, it is what it is.

Our little skiff seems to always have more than $400 in booze and fuel at any given time. An annual fee sounds like a drop in the bucket when you look at the big picture.

Steamboat is BLM actually.. and I think it is only $10? I have only paid at steamboat a handful of times. 3 dunes is a state park, so the state park pass works there.

For your $35 at Pirates they now give you a ticket for $15 off your tab at the restaurant. At least that is something.

All American Is right across the street and owned by a boating guy..I'll pay a few cents extra and keep filling up there vs a corporate store.
I've used their fuel from time to time, never knew anything about ownership, also convenient for propane. I've also been thinking about using Maverick's ethanol free 87, was kind of waiting for some feedback.

I’m in the South Side but I still use the Marina because it’s protected from the wind . I usually end up launching myself .

It took forever, but they did not cut corners. If the Islander kicks me out, I will pay the $400 for this place. Hate to say it, but at that price you reduce the ‘no respect’ folks from the equation

Pretty much my stance.

Edit:

I don’t mean that to be offensive. But if there’s a place I can worry less about my wife, mom, sister in laws etc. that’s worth the cost.

Are the shore gas pumps working in the parking lot RD? Fuel up on the trailer with 100 octane?

Get yourself a dock and the launch is free! 🤪 That’s what I’m doing.
Just out of curiosity……… Do the docks have power pedestals with water and electricity?

Do they also offer non-ethanol at the pumps at the back of the parking lot? If so, do you know if it’s the same price at what it is on the water?
pssst, hey. the new maverick station at 95 and Acoma has non-ethanol at the pump for $4.39 a gallon. not sure what octane. i just noticed it driving yesterday while driving by.
