Lots of smoke and some ash from the Eagle fire at my house. I’m hoping it stays on the east side of the 15, if it jumps the freeway it will turn into a shit show real fast.

I’ve lived in the area since 1965. They didn’t even try to put out fires not so long ago, part of nature’s cycle. But now there are homes on hilltops surrounded by brush. There are some high $$$ pads in that area.

I hope and pray that those involved still have fire insurance in place. The uncertainty of being able to attain homeowners insurance is causing me some real heartburn right now.
