I was talking with a retired sheriff captain buddy. He was telling me that what he did here is illegal and he should know it. The Govt code strictly prohibits politicking while in uniform. I sure hope there’s no fallout from this. Sheriff Bianca is 100% in my book!

He would have to be on duty to violate those terms. Notice he’s in his personal vehicle? Chad knows what he’s doing.

An elected Sheriff has broad power. Arguably more than elected politicians in many instances.

He knows the law and will be okay.

Hopefully he doesn't quit this Sherriff job first. Outside of OC, RS, and SB the remainder is pretty liberal. All three counties are tough on crime and have prosecutors that will and have consistently performed. That state is quite jaded.
