Great watch. Thanks for posting. The heyday of Offshore racing was a hair before my time, but I grew up watching the old race video and races through the 90's which solidified my goal to own an offshore powerboat. Specifically, a Cigarette.

That is a great clip, thanks for posting it. Also very accurate in the details of the characters and boats. I can remember when Jesse James used to come into Norwalk harbor. It was like nothing anyone had ever seen before. RIP Lavins

Thinking back, it was common to see powerboat racing on TV in the 80-90s. Pretty cool to watch. Like all serious pro racing, cubic dollars were being spent.

Maybe a list of YouTube boat channels? What do you watch? Guys that are redoing boats. Fiberglass channels, etc.. I stumbled on this guy the other day. Auto techNick. He is rebuilding a 79 centurion cruiser jet. New stringers, transom, gelcoat, jet engine. Some of the stuff he does I’m like WTF...
