Sadly, stomach cancer has an almost zero percent survival rate. There is very little blood flow in your abdominal area so chemo isn’t very affective, it’s nearly impossible to treat.Damn. I had read a couple of months ago he was battling cancer...
Dude!RIP
I was running all the beer sales at an event in Grand Junction Colorado called Country Jam in 2001.
Keith was one of the performers.
There was an issue that came up the day of the event that he was to be there in that the concert was a Miller Lite event and he was sponsored by Coors Light. His contract stated that 50% of the beer had to be CL which wasn’t gonna happen(we also carried CL at the wholesaler) So me and the promoters cut a deal with his people that we would have Coors Light in the Meet and Greet Hospitality Tent.
I have my guys set it up and I stopped by there 20 minutes before to be sure it was pouring and who is sitting there by himself, Toby Keith!
So I come through the opening and he says…What the F&$$ is up with that Miller Lite shirt!
I started laughing and so did he and I asked him if I could buy him a beer!
So we sat there talking for 10 minutes.
Good guy gone way too soon!
Tears me up, gettin older myself!! "Who would have thought I'd ever were skinny jeans" Haha, quote by Toby the same night, God Bless and RIP Patriot!!!!!x.com
