Love watching a team come together with a plan👍

Those GT3’s don’t handle well, unless you’re running fresh tires. 😁

Great response from the LA County Sheriff Department. These accidents are a dime a dozen on the weekends, I've seen so many expensive, fast cars pitched over the side of the road like this. More money than brains, and on public roads where are loved ones are driving. Think you're fast? Take it to the track... Poor car

absolutely - go do a track day, push the limits of you or the car, or both on a track, not in the canyons. dont get me wrong a spirited drive in the canyons is alway nice, but please keep the nine tenths stuff at the track.

Dumbass’ don’t realize a performance tire holds, until it doesn’t. Then it doesn’t warn you, it just leaves the chat.
“Tires are good, they only have 4000 miles on them in the last 2 years.”🤔
It’s what killed Paul walker.

This is a dream car. Ive always enjoyed driving porches as the shifting is lightning quick, thankfully my friends own em so I don't have to. But one birthday my wife rented one for us to take up the coast, felt pretty bad ass I must say, until a gt3rs pulled up behind me at the valet stand.

I shrunk like boy in the airplane movie scene where the girl says she takes her coffee black like her men :)

When you live your life a 1/4 mile at a time, the finish line comes up quick

This is at least the third GT3 I’ve seen upside down on ACH.
I love taking the wife’s car for a putt up there but damn some of the bike and car guys are just a bit too crazy

GT3RS......Rear wheel drive, basically a race car. You better know what you're doing.
They would be better off in a Turbo or 4S. AWD.
There's a reason Porsche has a race school at Barber Motorsports Park. I've been twice. All out driving and learning on a track not a highway.

GT3RS......

Power - 518 HP at 9000 RPM

0-60 time - 3.0 Seconds

Weight - 3270lbs

Weight distribution - 39% Front, 61% Rear

RWD
So you are saying they might not turn predictably??

Like throwing a dart backwards....you have to be on your toes. If you know how to drive 'em, this kinda stuff doesn't happen....but it's not an easy task.

Actually quite predictable if you know what you're doing....most don't. I don't. I've ridden in the passenger seat of one who does and it was mind blowing what he was able to do with the car.

I have grown up with them-a 69 is different than a 73, which is different than a G body, big change (5 link rear) at 993. Major change in the 996, but same rear as the 993, thru the 997. 991 got big, had to learn the PDK, amazing, but not my choice. Have not had a go in a 992.
Yes, there is a learning curve, but that curve starts to flatten the newer the model year. Early cars a fun, and you have to make them work-the power is not there.
Later (993) got better power, but still a drivers car. Early 996 is the same. 997 (2005) really is the sweet spot for me- analog, looks the part, better interior, great power in an S or GTS. I preferred my 05 S to my 11 turbo S. Currently looking for an 11 or 12 GTS 6speed.
