RIP Ed DeLong

I just got word that Ed Delong has passed away @ 98. Ed was one of the co-owners of Spectra Marine.
Ed was kind enough to answer my questions regarding his boat company. Ed’s boats were and still among the best designed, built & performing boats ever!

I got to have lunch with Ed about 10 + years ago and he answered all of my questions regarding Spectra Marine.

I think he lives in the Las Vegas area. I did email Bud Bailey some Spectra questions in the early 2000’s and he answered them. I had lunch with Ed Delong around 2009-2010 (I think) and he really had a lot of Spectra Marine information, he was really nice and very proud of Spectra.
