Taking the boys to go ride dirt bikes a bit over thanks giving. Any recommendations on close spots off of 95. They can go out my parents backyard in Cameron lakes. But just checking if there were any good local spots as I am new to riding. I’m usually boating. Thanks. Zach

There seems to be a bunch or trails from that area. I've never been on them, but lots of people ride over to Topock from there.
I'd look up the new cool desert bar in the area, up near Oatman. Golddiggers saloon. Seems to be a great spot, hoping to hit it during TG. I'm sure google earth will help you out.

These 2 areas are a little more sandy - might be difficult / challenging if your a new rider not much experience

you could ride over from golden shores to 95 and get some food and ride back there is a graded road on the south side of the rail road tracks.

This is my area, the graded road on either side of the tracks near the Topock Marina is Wildlife preserve, you can almost guarantee on a holiday weekend there will be a ranger.
Also a PIA to get to from Fort Mohave.

There's a 928 riders facebook page that may be good to join. I can only recommend areas starting from Topock/Golden Shores.

Ride out of your property and go east. LoL. If you want to trailer to a spot and stay within a square mile then Camel Humps, above Laughlin on the 163 or the clay pits off th rt66 north of golden shores are both fun spot

Several of our friends are in Cimmeron, we are in Willow Valley. Head out the back and go left on the dirt road behind the tract. Turn right on the Pipleine road and head up the hills. Tons of roads and trails back there. Please be very careful as there will be a ton of SXS that weekend. Many heading up that area towards Oatman. Be safe!
