That's not a 20'
So it's a 20..

Schiada Killer or not... It's still about 1/24 as cool.
What would the scale/ratio be if that whacker had a dual jet drive as a lower?
Shouldn't be too hard to find a schiada 20 with a 300 on it run them side-by-side.
The hardest part will be getting the schiada off the trailer....lol
Nice numbers. My buddies (RIP) old 20.1 Stoker made 300 hp and it ran in the 95-97 with two people]
Is it for sale? Maxed Out Marine?
Yes. We bought the boat with a 200. Sold the 200 and put this 300 on it. It's not quite buttoned up yet.

What is the weight difference between the two motors?
That thing looks huge and awesome strapped on the back.
I'm sure it's way fast but there's still something about 1000+hp through a transmission spinning a whining v-drive right between the driver and passenger that still a hell of a thrill!!

Ad says 225? Is it now a 300? That thing should move pretty good. Be really cool to see that run with some equally powered stokers.
When I get it all buttoned up and "thoroughly tested", we will relist it with a new add and new details.
Should I bring my lifeline out for some "testing"
Might need to. Lol.
Merc really needs to make a short shaft 300.

Jack plate.
I put money on it.... If the Schiada could only spend the same amount on the motor as the outboard
Hey boatracer36 Schiada will take it anyday hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup
Jack plate.
The guys over a Calhoun Marine are making cut down 3L (and 2.5) mids that they are doing their own brackets and trim systems. They are losing over 70 lbs off of stock. They can build whatever setback into the midsection you would like, and also play with heights on top of cutting down the mid. Really nice work.
Tell Brad his Lavey will get its feelings hurt. Lol.
Haha. Look at that Daytona in the background.
Then the motor sits so high affecting cg and ultimately causing not so favorable handling traits. Shorter mid would lower all that weight. Resulting in a more stable boat.
See, that's why V-drive boats work so well........move that motor all the way down into the boat = CG goes WAY down. And, no mids to fuck around with..
With RD in the boat, the cg is nice and low.
