Good stuff. Dude is reaching a lot of people real quickly and appears to be humble and down to earth. His announcement for his Sunday show in the outerbanks NC he offered a meet & greet with everyone.

Apparently it has overtaken Jason Alden’s’s “Try That In A Small Town” as #1 country song.
As it should have. Alden didn’t even write the song, which i know is very common with the large mouths backed by commercial country music. Songs from the heart are where its at. So many fantastic self-writing country artists out there right now becoming successful thanks to social media and streaming applications, but you’ll never hear them on the radio.

Great song! Amazing how fast he has blown up in 6 days. Just solidifies where the masses lie and how there is more Americans than sheep, despite what main stream media says. Just like, ‘try that in a small town’🇺🇸

Heard it on the news last week. Just a small part. But it’s horrible. I’m not talking about the words or anything like that as I don’t know much about it but it straight hurt my ears.

I don't care for 99% of country music but this guy got my attention. This is pretty much what it should sound like to me. Not the top 40 cousin fucker stuff from the last 30 years.

He's too nice.

Great song, limp wristed follow up. The rich men of Richmond will continue to walk all over him and his friends.

I thought it was a beautiful follow-up. I'd love to share some bourbon and conversation with this guy. You . . . not so much. You don't want to be heard; you just want to yell. So carry on.

Sources at the major country music record labels confirmed Monday that they were "baffled" and "nonplussed" by a new country music

So, can we add "nonplussed" to the other thread of phrases we don't want to hear again ?

Alden’s song is great.

This guy’s family tree has loops.

Reminds me of some slave plantation songs singing about the man. Lol This is America, lift yourself up, start a business, get an education, quit crying about the man holding you down.

He’s seems like a great guy. I just differ in my approach as to how we fix our country.

So what is your approach? Besides yelling from behind a keyboard? It’s a serious question. I’d like to know what you are doing? Running for office? Attending county board meetings? Joining a local militia to prepare for war? What is your opinion of the path to fix what is so broken? I ask because I’m not sure myself. I just try to be as self-sufficient as possible so that I am less reliant on others and live in a community that is a more intimate and rural setting. We attend local meetings to be aware of what is going on. I’m not sure what else to do.

I have always felt that what we've seen over the last 60 years is a psychological war for your mind. Early on, it easily operated in the shadows, but with the implementation of the internet, they gained a new tool, but also one that made them susceptible to exposure and they've been exposed.

Getting involved is always a good thing, whether it's at a Federal, State or Local level, but I feel that option is long gone, due to the Fed's lawlessness and apparent infiltration into every agency. Our populace was simply asleep at the wheel, due to being fed a narrative that wasn't reality. IMO information and spreading it far and wide in order to wake the masses, is the start of taking the country back. We simply need more and more numbers for what I feel will be the point of no return and what Oliver did and is doing, is a part of that.

Now here's where I differ in my approach with him. There is no meeting in the middle with a Marxist if you believe in the values of this country. The establishment will not simply allow us to take back our government, that was evident by their actions from the day Trump walked into office in 2016. I don't feel it can be accomplished through the voting booth, UNLESS we have massive numbers to counter their BILLIONS of outside money that is hellbent on destroying this nation in order to implement their globalist dreams. Therefore, what you and your husband are doing is of the utmost importance, along with coalescing in Red states and continuing to awake the sleeping for when this war really pops off. Some will embrace my message, some will not and FYI, I hope I'm wrong in my approach as there will be massive bloodshed, as there was in the Revolutionary and Civil wars.

My approach is rather harsh Angie, I understand that, but as I said, the Rich Men of Richmond what nothing more than for you to be civil, as it is the key to their existence. Trump was not and they had to then expose themselves for all who still have the ability to think for themselves to see. There's that age old saying, "Nice guys finish last" and currently, it is being played out right in front of our eyes.

We are in a war for the soul of the nation and it's very existence as we know it, any attempt to save it is admirable in my book, although I may not agree with them all.

I don't disagree with you, but what are you doing other than being a keyboard warrior? are you waiting for others to begin a war so that you can join in? If so, I think you have a romanticized image of what that would look like. If not, what do you suggest others do to silence and theoretically castrate the Marxists?

And we'll have to be careful in our discussion so that this doesn't get moved to the dungeon :)

Exactly, sounds like a a whiny song for those "victims" that have given up. I am willing to bet this guy capitalizes on this in some big way, isn't it ironic.......

As I said, attemping to spread the truth.

I have a lot of young people in my orbit and I discuss politics with them often. They are the ones that will be impacted the most and they are VERY receptive when you are logical and come with facts that they've never been exposed to.

As I said also, getting involved is good, it's a multi-tiered approach, but not as effective any longer and possibly futile at this point IMO. I wouldn't give up on it, but with my personality and past, it would be a waste of my time.

As for your last sentence, it will get moved, but that's okay, we don't bite down there as long as one is rational.

Perhaps this song is just another step in helping people see what is really going on out there.

More people being aware that the sheeplike proletariat is being led by their nose rings isn't a bad thing.

I have found that most liberals think that the vast majority agrees with them. They are partially right. The vast majority of their social and career sphere agrees with them. So because of this, they think that they are in the majority. They feel that conservatives are a bunch of inbred, backwoods people in Mississippi and Arkansas, driving a 30-year-old beat-up truck and living in a double-wide. Likewise, many conservatives like to believe all liberals are blue-haired, questionable-gendered, Prius-driving and living in an apartment. Everyone they know believes the same way they do, sharing the same set of core values and that all "libtards" are either stupid or evil. Most of the people they hang around them agree, which is why they can't believe the election didn't go the way they voted. "Everyone I know voted for _______. There is no way the other guy won!"

There are a lot of Americans that may be liberal or conservative and don't fit into these stereotypes. I feel we need to stop seeing people who have a different belief system than us as the enemy. And I furthermore, I believe that calling people "racist" "libtard" "stupid" "inbred" "trumptard" etc, is not going to change anyone's mind and make them see your point of view. I'm reminded of a great speech by one of the most intelligent men in our nation, IMO. You can watch the whole thing or skip to 21:22 for the part that is relevant to my point.

But to your point, Mandelon, I will tell you this . . . I think the success of both this song and Aldean's recording, along with the success of the Bud Light boycott, have shown there are a helluva lot of people who don't agree with some of the b.s. that is going on in this nation.

I also think we need to do more than be keyboard warriors yelling about how evil or dumb the other side is, because that solves absolutely nothing. No one has ever seen a meme someone shared on the internet and decided to change their vote. I guarantee it. Now, if only I could convince my parents of this so I could unhide their facebook profiles again, LOL.

Patriot here , God guts and guns , Love the message not crazy bout the song and haven't listened to it since it first broke .................... I listened to someone recently who opined and compared the 60's/70's protest songs (Dylan/CSNY etc) which ironically were left leaning and against the "right" . now the "right" is making protest songs against the left 🤷‍♂️

Interesting song, the message connects with people, a lot of people. That being said I’m a skeptic about stuff like this, and timing, viral instant fame is always suspect these days. It screams propaganda to me based on the production value of the video. As I look closely I see a very nice microphone, as well the mix on the audio is on point vocals to guitar, also has some auto tune/reverb on the vocals. There is an A and B roll camera shooting, someone obviously went to the effort to craft this piece for the internet, but then they tried to make it look campy/folksy by not using a tripod.

You ever see the movie wag the dog?

Just did some reading, sounds like he signed $100M recording deal. I’ll bet he really squeals about taxes now 😂

You might be right to some extent, as he has given credit to the recording engineer (my term not his) who seemed to be a local DJ friend. I'm not sure this is propaganda, but rather carefully crafted capitalism. If you listen to some of his other songs, the lyrics get reused "such as Old soul in a new World" If I had to guess, he has been working at this for a while to find the right hook, he had help from a friend to craft this and they are both going to make some cash.

I am not begrudging any of his efforts and feel like he is most genuine. I like the message and it has a catchy melody. The "set" is pretty commonly used by other folks that make this kind of music. Frankly, I really like that you can produce stuff like this without corporate media. This is what the internet should be giving.

I really dig the remix stuff that is coming out, but it does scream plagiarism which also seems very capitalistic. If the lawyers get involved for license fees we will see the full circle.

God forbid we have another civil war. Some days, I say sure bring it on, but quickly realize that everything we know and love about our country will be gone for our lifetimes. I agree with Anthony Oliver Music's statements that we need to get along. Not get along with the elite establishment, but get along with neighbors and citizens.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Whatever replaces what we have will be the same, no matter how the pendulum swings. Self-reliance seems key.

If he stood closer to the mic, he wouldn't have to yell.
I guess old people probably said that about AC/DC and Led Zepplin also 😜

I remember listening to Heart with my grandmother nearby, and she asked me why they had to yell. Sorry, that's what your post reminded me of, LOL.
