As it should have. Alden didn’t even write the song, which i know is very common with the large mouths backed by commercial country music. Songs from the heart are where its at. So many fantastic self-writing country artists out there right now becoming successful thanks to social media and streaming applications, but you’ll never hear them on the radio.Apparently it has overtaken Jason Alden’s’s “Try That In A Small Town” as #1 country song.
He's too nice.
Great song, limp wristed follow up. The rich men of Richmond will continue to walk all over him and his friends.
Heard it on the news last week. Just a small part. But it’s horrible. I’m not talking about the words or anything like that as I don’t know much about it but it straight hurt my ears.

I thought it was a beautiful follow-up. I'd love to share some bourbon and conversation with this guy. You . . . not so much. You don't want to be heard; you just want to yell. So carry on.
So what is your approach? Besides yelling from behind a keyboard? It’s a serious question. I’d like to know what you are doing? Running for office? Attending county board meetings? Joining a local militia to prepare for war? What is your opinion of the path to fix what is so broken? I ask because I’m not sure myself. I just try to be as self-sufficient as possible so that I am less reliant on others and live in a community that is a more intimate and rural setting. We attend local meetings to be aware of what is going on. I’m not sure what else to do.
Exactly, sounds like a a whiny song for those "victims" that have given up. I am willing to bet this guy capitalizes on this in some big way, isn't it ironic.......Reminds me of some slave plantation songs singing about the man. Lol This is America, lift yourself up, start a business, get an education, quit crying about the man holding you down.
I don't disagree with you, but what are you doing other than being a keyboard warrior? are you waiting for others to begin a war so that you can join in? If so, I think you have a romanticized image of what that would look like. If not, what do you suggest others do to silence and theoretically castrate the Marxists?
And we'll have to be careful in our discussion so that this doesn't get moved to the dungeon
I thought the same, so hard to listen to i have no idea what the lyrics are.Heard it on the news last week. Just a small part. But it’s horrible. I’m not talking about the words or anything like that as I don’t know much about it but it straight hurt my ears.

I can get behind that, the other, not so much............
Give it a minute.
Perhaps this song is just another step in helping people see what is really going on out there.
More people being aware that the sheeplike proletariat is being led by their nose rings isn't a bad thing.
Well if you read anything about him, he’s been doing YouTube videos for a while…has released songs and videos before this one…this one just took off…he’s not some random dude they picked up from his living roomInteresting song, the message connects with people, a lot of people. That being said I’m a skeptic about stuff like this, and timing, viral instant fame is always suspect these days. It screams propaganda to me based on the production value of the video. As I look closely I see a very nice microphone, as well the mix on the audio is on point vocals to guitar, also has some auto tune/reverb on the vocals. There is an A and B roll camera shooting, someone obviously went to the effort to craft this piece for the internet, but then they tried to make it look campy/folksy by not using a tripod.
You ever see the movie wag the dog?
Just did some reading, sounds like he signed $100M recording deal. I’ll bet he really squeals about taxes nowWell if you read anything about him, he’s been doing YouTube videos for a while…has released songs and videos before this one…this one just took off…he’s not some random dude they picked up from his living room
You might be right to some extent, as he has given credit to the recording engineer (my term not his) who seemed to be a local DJ friend. I'm not sure this is propaganda, but rather carefully crafted capitalism. If you listen to some of his other songs, the lyrics get reused "such as Old soul in a new World" If I had to guess, he has been working at this for a while to find the right hook, he had help from a friend to craft this and they are both going to make some cash.Interesting song, the message connects with people, a lot of people. God forbid we have another civil war. Some days, I say sure bring it on, but quickly realize that everything we know and love about our country will be gone for our lifetimes. I agree with Anthony Oliver Music's statements that we need to get along. Not get along with the elite establishment, but get along with neighbors and citizens. As I said, attemping to spread the truth.
I have a lot of young people in my orbit and I discuss politics with them often. They are the ones that will be impacted the most and they are VERY receptive when you are logical and come with facts that they've never been exposed to.
As I said also, getting involved is good, it's a multi-tiered approach, but not as effective any longer and possibly futile at this point IMO. I wouldn't give up on it, but with my personality and past, it would be a waste of my time.
As for your last sentence, it will get moved, but that's okay, we don't bite down there as long as one is rational.
I guess old people probably said that about AC/DC and Led Zepplin alsoIf he stood closer to the mic, he wouldn't have to yell.

I remember listening to Heart with my grandmother nearby, and she asked me why they had to yell. Sorry, that's what your post reminded me of, LOL.
psssssst thunderstruckWhispering “barracuda” just wouldn’t have the same effect.
