I totally understand....I did not post or even lurk really for several years, on any of the boating forums. Even though I still have moderator status on PB. I have to say, it's better here now than it had gotten at PB and even HB before that. Maybe stop in from time to time, and check it out. Otherwise, I still hope to see you at breakfast for the next Long Beach race.

i saw a thread on OSO where a guy was looking for a pair of rexmar trim switches for the kiekhaefer controls. they started talking about how to fandangle something together out of sticks and glue. i know your custom production stuff was cut considerably, just letting you know that theres people out there that still want your products! hopefully things pick up again.

I always thought being a moderator on any site with your biz was a bad idea.. Having been a mod on several sites over the years including this one, you're bound to pick up a truck full of haters over the years because ultimately you can't make both sides happy no matter what.

That being said Mike, I always thought you were one of the better moderators on any of the boating forums. Always willing to listen and try to help etc..

I'm happy to hear biz is picking up for you. Stop in and say hello from time to time.

Yeah Jason I hear ya. The animosity between members on the 2 forums just became nauseating for me to have to read and wade through. That and the drama within pb that needed to be dealt with. One day I just woke up and said that's enough. About the same time Chris sold pb but I was worn out anyway at that time. Didn't go back for months. And didn't miss it. Still don't. There are a few haters here too that I had to deal with on pb so easier to just not participate either place much, problem solved.

I am still dedicated to the marine business, but like most marine business owners just prefer to not get involved in drama (any longer). I deal with parts, and a lot of good people. That I like. Good people here too but the online drama after 11 years burned me to the ground. Yes hope to see you at long beach this year. A favorite race of mine.

Yeah I think that guy called yesterday or the day before. I stopped making those switches some time ago cuz all the newer controls come with them in the handle, so not much demand any longer. A lot of the older stuff has been cut from production just cuz its, well... old stuff that not many any longer want.
