So i'm adding a Victron Multiplus 2000va inverter / charger to my camper. Its getting installed below a false floor in a cabinet where I have some space.

I plan on taking a sheet of 1/2" sanded ply, and using that as the mounting surface that will be attached to the wall on the left hand side in the picture. I plan on pulling one of the screws out of the closet floor support to get a gauge of the screw depth I can use, but Im also assuming its prob not going into anything too sturdy. The inverter is is about ~30ish lbs, so want to try to make it as sturdy as possible.

I plan to run some screws into the perimeter of the sheet of ply, as well as capturing it with a strip of wood that ties into the closet floor support and the ply. Since the closet floor support should be braced some I hope.

Any other ideas or thoughts?

FWIW. I would leave a little "breathing" space between the inverter and the walls to allow for any heat dissipation.

So it hangs via a metal cleat, and is spaced out from the factory, but yea, I fully intend of having heat issues.

The inverter does have a 3" dia fan built into the unit, and I plan on adding some additional thermostatically controlled fans into the mix to help move air. I'll also put a couple additional vents into the closet floor.

They get warm when charging. Have a 3000 Victron on our RV. You will love it!

yea, that makes sense.

I figure i'd prob keep it fairly low on the amps while connected to shore power. Right now at home I only have a 15amp circuit I use, but I want to get a 30a installed in the front of the house.

My use is mainly for the inverter, but for the difference in cost I figured i'd just get the full multiplus deal. I have 608 ah (~7.2 kw) of LIFEPO4 currently out of the 2 batts
