WTF ? When I pulled up to the PARKING entrance at the stadium, a HUGE SIGN reading "PARKING FOR BOAT DRAGS" with a kid in an apron COLLECTING money for parking , I asked, "how much to get in ? " he replied, " TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS entry, FIVE DOLLARS to park " Dumbass me :bash: What a fukin idiot I am  I THOUGHT that meant it was TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS to get in and FIVE DOLLARS to park Maybe the kid taking the money spotted my RDP hoodie and MISTOOK me for a baller

His wife has posted a couple updates about his condition over on dragboatracing.com . He has 3 broken bones in his back, broken shoulder, punctured lung and other internal injuries:cry: This sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure the parking was not an NJBA thing and the city got that loot. So that kid would have been working for them and was mis informed it sounds like. So like I said, you would have paid 15 bucks.

They canceled Sunday's runs due to weather? That's really strange. I've been hearin' the news talkin' about all of the wind damage in SoCal and all. Live in Menifee which is probably about 15-20 miles from Lake Elsinore and we didn't get as much as a breeze all day. Little cool but no wind. Go figure.

Oh yeah. Couldn't hear the boats from my backyard but I did hear some guy gripin' about the prices and a bunch of "beer-battered boaters" tearin' it up!:thumbsup:p

????

Today's was not good, but the Club was very happy about yesterdays turn out. Over 2,200 paid at the gate and they didn't advertise other than fliers. They wanted to get this one under their belt to " test the waters".
For the November race they will use both radio and tv media to get the word out.

Something both Riverdaves and Performance Boats might want to set a booth up to get the word out about their web-sites. Lot's of people there to introduce to the Boards.

S CP :D

Thanks I'll look into that next year. :)

I think he said.. Dude look at that sweeeet sweat shirt that dude is wearing.. Lets lead him out back and beat the shit out of him, and take it! We'll fock him on the entry fee as well just for good measure. :D

We drove up sunday morning, and got off the freeway just in time to get the phone call that they had just cancelled the race. :( It was pretty windy at the 15, so I could see why.

I'm about 4 miles west of the 215 (about 15 miles east of the 15) and 1 mile north of Newport Rd. and we didn't get $hit for wind all day. Beautiful day. A little cool for me. Of course, anything below 90* is cool to me. Go figure.
