I was thumbing thru my phone yesterday pulling up the old desert storm parties and came across the video of the crash.
Absolutely heart breaking.

Was getting my truck washed at car toys in Havasu today and the lickity split tow rig pulled in right after.

I don't think I've seen that truck in 2 years. Sad day for sure.

The boat was auctioned off at a salvage yard. JP still has the truck and trailer. Last I talked to him he was going to sell the trailer if someone wanted it.

I never met the Lickity Split crew but even as an adult I was always happy to see that boat on the water. It was a beautiful boat, truck and trailer. One of my goals was to ride in it at one of the charity events. RIP everyone involved and I hope the owner is doing ok.
