Funny I was at a family dinner Saturday. My cousin who brought the family with young kids to Havasu last summer commented that the youngest said that boating in Havasu for 3 days was BETTER than Disneyland. That made my day and I am telling everyone that from now on.

Disney hasn't been Disney since Disney died.

Disney is rolling in Disneys grave at all the current DEI Disney BS.

Have a shot for everytime I said Disney before attempting to watch anything current from Disney, or avoid Disney if possible (hard when you have kids).

… A still good friend of mine‘s father Karen Ecoles Wright was partnered up with Roy and Walt Disney in the 30s… I believe he was their first cartoonist …saw his little studio at their home in Sun Valley California when I was dating his daughter for a few weeks… amazing how the cartoonist used to have to do it by hand one page to the next… I believe they called the pages cells🤷🏽‍♀️… he created some of the cartoon characters that are still in existence today… but off the top of my head I can’t remember which ones🤷🏽‍♀️

Tron Legacy was probably the last decent thing they have done, and that was 15 years ago now.

I asked years ago. Would you rather go to Disneyland or the River? They yelled RIVER!!

Nowadays it's damn near cheaper to go to the river. My neighbor went to Disneyland last week. 5 of them. I replied must if been expensive. Thinking a 100 entrance. He replied $180. But several had season passes.

I looked it up and Holy shit. That's a expensive day with say average family of 5.

Adults today go and take their kids because fond Disney childhood memories have a place in their heart.

Their kids may not be accumulating those same memories in their hearts.

Last 3 visits we shared the top of a trashcan as a table to eat on with other families.
It’s been years since.

I had to sell off my Disney stock because it just kept going downhill. That stock was supposed to be for my kids someday. To me the park is so crowded you can’t get anything done. Disney is charging you more and giving you less. Rant over.
