Remember the thread where RDP members were stating they could complete a Seal Training obstacle course?

Out of curiosity I would like to see how that guy would do at the SEAL course, I know he could do it but it would be interesting to see.

Impressive as hell. Not so much the strength, but the agility. I'd be curious how much editing, and if the guy could do it all in a short amount of time. No doubt the guy's good, but I'm sure he went to the ground a lot while learning.

I wanted to be a seal very bad but had too many legal issues. Not saying I could have been but I got stopped at step 1 anyways. I think I could do some of those. Not all. The chain flip and hook looked pretty tough. More than just athletic ability

It was my thread, some said they could do it when they were in their late teens or early 20's

I never saw that thread.. buds course is no joke and there are a few things that mentally are designed to break even the toughest guys..

I know for sure I couldn’t do it.

I dont think anyone here could pass that course or buds even in their prime.
My son was in his 6 out of 8 week Prep school for Navy Diver. Kid is now slouch either. 155lbs and PB 235 on bench and 700 on squat--he trained at 5 miles runs twice a day.
More specific day 5 or 7 of selection week (hell week) when he got sick. He could not do the over/unders as he could not hold his breath. The treading water and drop-ins he could still do but severely weakened his ability for over/unders.
His class started out with 58 and when he had to drop there were only 17 left.
At least 30-40% of the group were drops from Buds. They thought dive school would be easier--and it is but only marginally. When he dropped there were only 7-8 guys left from Buds.
He said that class only moved 8 to Diver A School in Pensacola. 2 got rolled in the final week and had to restart the Prep School.

Sons ultimate goal is to fly large equipment for the Navy--so when he got sick he thought "why am I putting myself through this again, if its not what I want to make a career of?" So he went MA and is now Harbor Patrol in VA while he works on degree and ultimately flight school.

17 to 20 you could do anything 😆

That course above, I don't think I could keep all the moves required in my mind.

Much easier to dance like a cholo!

My pops running through the navy seal course down in San Diego in the 80’s. LASD SEB trained with the seals often.

I’m sure there’s plenty that can pass the physical tests, it’s the mental part that makes these guys some elite.
