Traffic light after traffic light after traffic light. It has a major north-south highway going through it so there is a lot of stop and go. You have people trying to get through, retirees who don’t have the strength to push the gas pedal, and locals who hate everybody and want to show it. Housing is expensive.

Some rich dude just bought the exterior bricks of a bridge in London. Shipped it over to the US and slapped it on a concrete structure in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, desertland. Those are all mostly accurate statements.
The question is whether one enjoys that stuff or not.
But like any “tourist destination” there is another side to it.
There’s a difference between having a house up on the hill above the din, for instance, and being down in the thick of it full time.
I laughed reading the comments because I have thought the same things at times during my 4 year full time status there.
