It isn't all that far from Denver. I think we stayed in Golden when we went to Red Rocks to see Joe Bonamasa.

There used to be (maybe still is?) a great little pizza place in Morrison…

It’s where I watched the OJ bronco chase from!

I’d stay downtown if it were me.

The Uber experience will suck for sure, no way around it.

Stay in Golden / Golden area. Golden actually extends quite a way east down I-70 & 6th ave. Lots of places to stay around I-70 & Denver West Blvd.

Also I-70 / 6th Ave / Colfax area.

That area is sometimes called Denver West. It includes Golden, Lakewood, Arvada. All very close to Morrison

Also, many of the near by motels offer shuttle service.

There is NO public transportation to Red Rocks.

If you have never been or not familiar with Red Rocks, parking can be a nightmare. Just finding an entrance can be challenging for someone who has never been and does not know the area.

There are two entrances and multiple parking lots.

Also. . . go early. . . visit the museum at Red Rocks. Its incredible. Lots of history of everyone that has performed there and memorabilia.

Youre just going to want to drive, i cant imagine doing anything else. The one exception might be one of those party busses from Denver. I have not tried one, but it might work.

I've done a few shows there, my advice would be to park FACING DOWNHILL on the exit road going out. DO NOT park in the lot.
If you can park RIGHT at the cut off hiking trail, thats ideal, you can shoot down the hill, hit your car and sneak in line. But just make sure you dont have to turn around you'll be f'd

Cool venue for sure. The parking advice above is spot on.

Well it looks like the wife found an Airbnb that had good reviews near the venue. Always looking for "an adventure"
A 1.8 mile walk. what the heck. Should be fun after cocktails

Last time we stayed at a casino in Blackhawk. About 30-40 mins to RR, but worked for us that trip.

Maybe stash a flashlight or two on the way into the venue so you can find your way back in the dark!

I've been to a bunch of shows there. Taken a limo a few times, but the best part is partying in the parking lot before the show. Its awesome in the summer. When I've stayed close it was in Golden, just down the hill, tons of options.........

Mother in law lives in Evergreen. About 20 minutes West of RR. She has an AIRBNB deal. 2 bedroom 2 bath, full kitchen. Nothing fancy. No great views. And she lives in the basement. Nice as can be but 🤪.
She caters to the RR crowd. Gives people who stay with her rides there and back for extra cash.

We got an air bNB in evergreen. 20 minutes drive and it's outside the city. Cool little town. If you want the party though the music scene downtown Denver is hopping.
