Good Morning,
So over the past few years my dad has been on this kick that he and my mom needed a smaller boat. As they have grown older, it was getting harder for them to manage their lavey craft (getting in and out, etc.). Over the past weekend my dad made a deal with a good buddy of mine to trade boats + some $. Both parties were very happy with the deal. So my dad is now the new owner of a 1999 Carrera SST (same as a sleekcraft hull). I would say the boat is about a 7.5/10 very clean and well taken care of. Mechanically its sound, cosmetically it needs some TLC. There are some areas on the blue gray strips that look like the gel is burned through, I would say about 3 places on the deck, and a few small spots that run down the sides of the boat. (See picture below, I apologize for the picture quality, ill try and get some clearer photos.) I'm looking for recommendations on who can provide a quality repair, let's keep the $$ out of the equation, I'm more focused on who does the best quality work. In addition to the gel repairs, the trailer is hammered. I am also looking for recommendations for trailer repairs, It needs to be repainted, and we would like to eliminate the center mounted wheel crank and add a trailer winch. I appreciate the advice in advance! Thanks
