And by the way... These 500R's hit hard. The acceleration is unreal. We were in South Carolina last week for the new engine reveal and the 50th Anniversary party. Mercury goes all out...

No big number yet... The set up is different and there is still a lot to learn. They will push the boat 2-3 mph faster with the same prop.
I have seen 126 at 6600 (higher rpm) with a set of 34 pitch CNC Clevers. the huge part of this statement is the boat had 80 gallons of gas with 5 people on board. These new 500R's are amazing and will be great on all of our outboard models. Stay tuned.
