It's that time of year again when we must ask the question. What kind of Christmas tree do you have?

The wife is partial to real trees so we've had the real thing for the last 3 years. Personally I like fake trees they don't make a mess and you only have to buy it once. This years tree was $100, that starts to add up over the years.

The new house has 22 foot ceilings in the family room and living room so this will be the last year with a real tree. I'm hoping to score a deal on a 15' fake tree the day after Christmas this year.

So what about you? Real or fake?

Has to be real. We go out to the farm and cut one where it stands. Hook a water IV up to it. Drinks 1 1/2 gallons a day and smells so good.:D

I guess I'll be the first to vote for fake. I actually prefer real trees, but I like to put it up right after Thanksgiving. A real tree would be all over the floor by Christmas...

My daughter has really bad asthma, so fake for us. The doctors said that the amount of mold and spores on a real tree could trigger a reaction, so no real allowed.

Real. Never had a fake and hopefully never will. This year we got ours at costco, $45 for a 7-8 footer. When we lived up in Oregon, we would go to the tree farm and cut it down.
