Yeah that would have been a good idea. Allows room for error. I think I’m going to resign as a sticker installer. I was able to have a company recreate the original decals for the boat that was color sanded/ceramic coated by @steak&lobster . Detail specialties took off all the old faded decals and registration numbers. I think I’ll have my dad install the new decals and registrations numbers back on the boat. :)
You better stick to installing retaining walls, building new patios ....Let someone else do the hard part like putting on a RDP sticker..lol :D

Unfortunately the brass is not the rare part, or as rare I should say. The parts that cause the 6mo wait are the Spitzers (projectiles). Only made by Hornady and they only do 2 runs a year
I'd ditch the carcano. I vividly remember in the pre barack days of walking out of a suppliers warehouse with boxes of 5500 bulk 55 grain v-max....

Well, that was back in the days of buying powder in 44lb kegs too...

I used to shoot once in a while, before I took up boating as a hobby.

Theres a dillon or 2 laying around at dads, and my brothers place. ;)

It isn't above yoooor paygrade. Make a bottle of soapy water. The sticker will slide around till you squeegee it. Seriously. I watched you rebuild your dads backyard. You got this. ;)

Good point! Going to finally tile the fireplace this week if it doesn’t rain! It’s been tarped for almost two months now! So many home projects being delayed by the rain in SoCal. Can’t believe it.

That all seemed much easier than this! Having a level helps!
I’m proud to say the retaining wall has held up great with all the rain and the drainage system works great!

It's part of my all operation ww2 collection

I'm only a MAS36 and 1903Springfield away from closing out my ww2 bolt actions and moving on to pistols and semis

I had a few things laying around. Sold off a bunch of extra stuff to do the boating thing. Kept an even smaller amount just for fun
It all went poof in December. The 2 I managed to save from that fiasco were stolen last week. I literally have 1 870 that I had stashed away as parts is all that's left. I'm buying a plastic stock for it and assembling it tomorrow.

I used to have 2 safes big enough for 2 not small dudes to have a "not awkward" conversation" inside of. Sold the one and whittled down the other inventory of the other.

Sorry to @Socalx09 for the thread jack, bit I need to vent a bit.

Was sorry to see what happened to your place. That sux. I'd be livid if anything remotely similar happened to me. My firearms, tools, and Mustang (Gloria) are my only no fly zones that might cause me to snap; all the way down to the rear window tramp stamp sticker. Lol

All else can be replaced.

Also sorry for the thread jacking...

I kept the crappy savage model 110g 30-06 my dad bought me when I was 14,
The ruger 77mkII 300 win mag, the ss 243, and my red label.
The Winchester '94 30-30 (post '64) broom handle, the 3 Remington 870's in 12ga, the 2 more 20ga I had bought for the kids, the thompson center icon I had bought in .308 as a deer rifle. It had a butter knife handle and a jeweled bolt. 5 different species of wood in the stock. It was gorgeous. A few 10-22's of different varieties. 1 was a stainless hammer forged barrel, with the hotrod trigger group. Couple of muzzle loaders, a .50, a .54....

A partial listing.

Oh well. I'm on the lake now. Dont need to shoot wylie coyote in the ass anymore.
