Carl I love the Howard!! The integrated bar is awesome! What about the gas tanks though? Can you run it?

I've had Inlaws here half the summer. Add in some family health issues and about a dozen birthday parties it pretty much killed my summer. I've just been working everyday. Grandmother inlaw broke her hip in my bathroom so they're not leaving for a while.

Very strong possibility...Summer is doing the wedding dress thing on Sat so I have a pass. If not I'll see about Sunday!

While I'm sure an Ultra 26 has been covered many times - we will be in Havasu Friday (Aug 1) for a week.

We will also have a a Magic 28 with us - possibly a side by side article? They both have the same motors - and as you know are totally different boats that on paper would fit in the same category. Might make for a neat real world comparison of the 2 models?

If not - we will still have plenty of beer in the cooler to share if we see you on the water...

It's on for today, we are planning for 4:00 PM. There will finally be a Nordic 29 deckboat review to make the inmates happy.

I also talked to Thane this morning and Nordic is happy to participate in side-by-side builder reviews so long as it's done like the old days.

1. Team of professional drivers/reviewers
2. Same day back to back, keeping conditions the same
3. True measurement of the boat and running surface
4. Weighing of the boats
5. GPS backed up by radar

Sounds like the makings of a great event with real world conditions and numbers.
