28' 2014 ATC CH300 Aluminum Race Trailer.
Oregon License Plate #U481364
Last seen at 1141 N. Cosby Way, Anaheim CA
Security cameras in the area show White Toyota Tundra hooking up to it at 5:32am on Saturday 9-21-2024
Trying to find other cameras that may show more detail and License plate, etc.
Please leave any details here or PM me.
Thanks,
Dave

Sorry on this, older Tundra extra cab, not many of thee around. Check that plate, it may be missing a number. TRACK your trailers, or at least glue a airtag in a frame rail.

I have an identical ATC Trailer but with silver sides, also stored outside, in Anaheim. Had to check my Airtag location real quick to make sure mine wasn't gone too!

What is the tracking system you recommend again? I see Baileys junk got stolen too. I need to get more serious about this. Half my junk is not insured because they won’t cover it. One trailer leaves and it’s $100K plus out the window. Time to make a move here.

Good idea to hide an AirTag on the trailer. Cheap and easily trackable.

I there are many good trackers on the market find one that small that can be concealed, but more than that trackers need constant power
So if you have a trailer like this, and the contents in the inside, we want to do is have a solar charger on the roof of the trailer and a wire in the inside plugged into the side of what ever inside will call it a Duesenberg like an investigation I worked about eight years ago and got it back. The crooks are idiots.
In that case and the loss was going to be about a half 1 million or more I told the insurance company immediately that they had stolen the enclosed trailer to cut it apart for the Aluminum and when we got it back about five days later, the trailer was somewhat damaged. The car had minor damage , gonna go to jail and that’s exactly what these tweakers stole to cut the trailer into aluminum pieces for scrap
They’re just gonna figure out a trickle charger for the car battery which it is little. Do they know if someone can seal in there? Is your GPS tracker
You still have to use AirTags in the vehicle and on the trailer nothing is perfect. There is so phone blockers are block a data signal but anything is better than nothing.

Just out of curiosity, did your friend have a tongue lock on the trailer at all? I know most of them are easily defeatable but just their mere presence can be enough of a deterrent to make the perp move on.

I stashed an apple airtag on my trailer. I can always open my phone and spot it.

I use a co. called MASTRACK , it's expensive, but $100k lost?? I don't have a big enclosed so the vehicles have trackers, all of the cars have a tracker buried in them, boat included, with a battery back up.

Started when my kid started driving to track him, I told him up front, made him install it himself. I also have a portable unit

I have 2 of those. 1 on each of my bigger dump trailers. Just secured one a hour ago. The lock Is the weak link. I saw a video of them drilling a hole in it in seconds. You have to know exactly where to drill though. Pricey I paid $550 for 2. Cheaper on Amazon but I wanted them keyed alike.

If they would use a heavier duty lock it would be great. The lock itself feels like aluminum its so light.
