Wife is driving to Tampa for business next week, taking the kids and au pair.
I’m gonna fly out on Friday, and we’re gonna take the kiddos to Disney World on Saturday the 27th.

Anyone know how to get discount tickets? They’re almost $200 a pop…thankfully the kids are under 3 so they’re free.

Any tips and/or suggestions are appreciated 👍
There’s little chance we’ll see the whole park in a day, so we’ll save the multi-day extravaganza for when they’re older.

Thanks fellers

I don't know anything about Disney, but i do know that you won't be far from Titusville, and the rock shrimp at Dixie Crossroads are like crack. 🤣 🤣

Funny you are posting this. I bought tix for my girlfriend and I for Disneyland in Anaheim this Sunday and it was stupid expensive plus it’s going to rain. I was looking for someone to make it a little more special without saving any money but falling short.

Spend the money and go lol.

Thanks for the heads up. My daughter lives in Wedgefield, maybe 20 miles from Titusville. :)

Kids don't understand Disney until age 6 at the earliest. Going to be a lot of work. A hell of a lot of walking.
The Cheapest hotel on property is the Pop Century and it's next to the (free) Skyliner that'll get you into 2 of the amusement areas.

The bus transportation system is a hassle.

Save your money and go somewhere else.

at that age, they're not going to remember a damned thing

💯

My kids (in there 20's now) don't remember shit about all the cool places I took them when they were little.

Save that money for when they are older, so you can take them on trips they will Never forget. 👍🏼

Rob, ask your wife if she remembers anything from when she was three. I sure as fuck don't! 🤣

My buddy gave me some good advice when I asked him “Dude, how can I relax when Im trying to vacation with my toddler and they wont even remember anything!” His kids are a bit older then mine but he travels his ass off with them early on.

He goes “Chris, stop being a dumbass, you arent there for the moment, you are there for the memory and the reflection once its all over”

It made so much sense to me.

Who cares if they remember. I do and thats priceless!

Been bringing the kids to Disneyland in Anaheim since they were very young. They absolutely loved it when they were under 3. Now, they are teens and have had enough after a few hours.

We haven't found any way to save money on entrance, but the cost per day goes down quite a lot if you buy five-day tickets.

There are turkey legs to eat.

I assume all the above applies to Walt Disney World as well.

I could probably get you Florida resident tickets, but not sure how to get around them checking your ID. I think they at 200 for 2 days.

If you really wanna have your mind blown go a little further up the coast to New Smyrna to a restaurant called 'The Garlic' and eat at the Blue Bar. 🤙

Going there end of next month. Got a condo on the beach there for a week. Will have to check this place out. Thanks

It's definitely cool to look back at the pics. Even if they don't remember! Great times. 👍🏼

But the three week road trip with my daughter this summer?

We will Both be remembering that trip forever. 💕

I get it. But that’s not an argument I’m gonna win

She’s there on business with a hotel, so the cost to visit the park will never be lower 😂

I'm obviously doing it wrong. I need an au pair.
Bruh, seriously…I don’t know how we could do it without her. And we’re money ahead compared to $20/hour babysitters, 8 hours a day and 5 days a week.

Understand completely.

When Bentley sent me to training in Ft Lauderdale for a week, I spent the next few days after, driving to Key West.

Gotta take advantage sometimes. 👍🏼

Yeah, there is no "relax" or "vacation" when you're with toddlers. Travel with young kids is called a family trip, it's work. To get a vacation and relax it has to be sans kids. Learned that one from Modern Family.

I learned that one from experience.

You can't let your guard down for half a second these days.

Man I'm glad my kids are grown up.

Yea, I get it for sure. I guess thats why I am glad I did this later in life. I been there, done that, so this is all new to me.

Heck, having kids has taught me now that I will never be carefree like the past, but man, its such a wild ride!

I have an idea, 5k +tip and you will have a personal guide to get you up front on all rides and ideas on what is important to see. That doesn’t include any price breaks on anything in the park, that’s all extra. Think how this would also impress the au pair. You got to hurry though this is generally sold out.

I was just there. At MK on Christmas Day. 60's and raining thank you.
They are offering deals all over Disney. Do a little R&R before you go. Also seriously consider "Lightning Lane" (Fast in) or you'll spend half your day easily waiting in long ass lines. i.e. 2.5 hour wait to get on Pirates of the Caribeann. Right across from Its a small World where we were waiting 45 minutes, watching multi families of of 8 to 12 people with 1 Gramma in a wheelchair, roll to the front because of her handicap....... nice scam
