Great people, cold beer, good BBQ, and winter in the desert--Good times:thumbsup. It was great to meet a few more RDP people. Thanks to RD and DB for getting this ball rolling. Thanks to AJ for being a most gracious camp host and letting us crash in his trailer. Thanks to Drtywhat for driving out. And countless thanks to all of the other wonderful people I met for the hospitality and company. It was just what I needed to get my mind off of all the cancer bullshit and just relax and have fun.

Shout out to Drtywhite? and Hammer for recognizing me at the Desert Bar. I had an RDP T-shirt on that Dave graciously donated to me and many others at the Howard Regatta. I was staying in town. Nice to meet you two! Looks like a great time!

Finished off the weekend at foxs with Marc and Donna (thanks for the shots BTW) , Ricky and his girl, pink taco and a few others and watched the broncos punch their ticket to the Super Bowl. Part of me is glad the niners lost, I'd like to see manning win another one !

Hammer, if there is a next time.......make a note to yourself that I do NOT store extra blankets in the microwave, under the ceramic platter....

Oh, and you owe me one Hersey's Dark Chocolate candy bar......you left the wrapper on the kitchen counter next to the microwave platter..

First night I didn't have enough to drink and forgot to close the sliding doors the seperate the living area from my back bedroom.

Solved on night #2 by downing a few more Jacks and closing those sliding doors.

This was a great winter weekend at the river. It was great meeting all the new people.

Carl and AJ it was cool talking about boats with you guys.

That really sucks for the guys who made the ballsy run for Fireball and Red Bull Saturday night...

Regardless, I want you all to know I'm very disappointed in the lack of drinking. I brought two 30's, handle of Sailor Jerry, Fireball, and Gentlemen Jack... I have the Jack, Carl has a 30 and 1/2 the Sailor, and Dave has the Fireball. We need to reconvene in two weeks and try this again :eek
