Do they do that?
Yes, they do. Cops don't really like to advertise what they do. Firemen are America's heros, put fire stickers on everything they own, wear their fire shirts and lead conversations with, "I'm a fireman". LOL (just ribbin').

The blue and red line combo is more of a "universal first responder" thing instead of isolating "cop" or "fire". ;)

hahahaha...

Question: What is the proper way to ask a fireman if they are a fireman?
Answer: You don't have to, they will tell you within the first 30 seconds of meeting them. 😂

Fuckin hose draggers.

More truth to this than not! Not that I didn't love my career and I did have some proud moments. I don't have helmet decals on any of my vehicles or wear "fire" shirts advertising who I am. Maybe just me but I don't want anyone thinking they owe me anything. I don't need the recognition. Besides, firefighters hand out t-shirts and decals like they are candy. Just don't mean what they use to mean. Rank over I guess;) With that being said I would buy a flag on my RV pole with both the red and blue stripe. I think it stands for solidarity between the two professions, like it used be.

Count me in. Your timing is poignant with these - we just lost a family member in the line of duty yesterday. She was a 24 year old army veteran that had joined the Indianapolis MPD just over 2 years ago. Sorry to be a downer, just trying to process. I will proudly fly one of these on my truck.

I’ll take a couple, my neighbor kid is a BHCFD I’ll see about slipping onto a big white firetruck or two. Worse case I’ll put on his truck. Shirt as well in red line

Lol, when we are working and the FD shows up we always say, “Hey guys America’s real heroes are here!!!” Lol. On the west coast the cops and FD get along. On the east coast it’s crazy how the FD and PD don’t get along. I saw it first hand about 15 years ago when we went to NY to play against the PD. A bunch of us and the NYPD guys went to watch a NYPD vs FDNY hockey game and there were literally more fights in the stands then on the ice. Of course everyone was shit faced so I’m sure that played a factor too!

Tank is correct though, most cops don’t like to advertise what they do. Most firemen have that stupid little helmet sticker on everything they own, especially their lifted bright red diesel trucks!!! Lol.

You might as well do Pink for the Nurses that are on the front line right now and Green for Military.

But I’ll take a thin Blue one when they are ready. But I like the black background idea too or gray.

Have you thought about putting this on some hats or is that cost prohibitive?

I've been retired for several years now (2013), but thanks for doing something to recognize first responders. My younger son is still in the business (just received his 20-year pin a couple days ago). My older son followed his grandfather and served in the Navy, then went into the private sector. Couldn't be more proud of both. I'm in for decals and T-shirts and hats if you decide to make them.

I was a first responder for nearly 4 decades, but this pandemic has made it clear (at least to me) that the traditional first responders are not the only ones who take a risk to help others. Thanks to you, your daughters, and all the others for what they are doing to get us through this.

Cool RD.
This has been on my clipboard for a long time.

I stopped putting fire stickers on anything I owned maybe 10-15 years ago. I feel I am pretty modest about what I do for work. I also came to a point and recognized that there are a lot of haters out there.

I would find a few places to rock some red stripes tho [emoji1690]

Now...That's funny!

Speaking of funny, "I always thought "wax on, wax off" was the fireman's (or is it fireperson's) motto.

Maybe one with an Orange line for the guys in construction. You know, essential workers for transportation projects and all. :)
