The first time I logged into Hot boat was Oct. 19, 2004. People were picking on RD and his stance on Pitbulls not sure if they said he sucked at that time or not. Tom Brown was getting razzed about the Ford Granada. Those were the first two threads that stood out for me and couldn't understand all the animosity towards those two people. RD claimed to live in Newport Beach at the time while Brown was and still is a pasty Canadian!

I was January 2003 and spent my first year trying to figure out OP6C.

People had humor back in the mid 2000's when I joined in at hot Boat. We had a ton of it here at RDP and I mean non-stop. Thankful to RD for starting it up along with Brian and Forensic, Bilge and 100's of other funny folks.

I am thinking Holy Moly had the RDSUX plate made. Another member I had a ton of fun with on here and out side of the forums riding desert.

Long story short someone asked a tech question on hot boat and I happened to know the answer.. so I told him what it was and how to fix it.

Another member not only disagreed with it but also started attacking me as a dumbass etc which was pretty common on that site.

I called my friends at mercury and had them send me an email with the solution to the problem and. A few high profile shops and posted the emails that were 100% in agreement with me.. obviously not only winning said argument but completely flattening the guy because by that time he had pretty much gone all in on the subject..

Needless to say the guy was silenced..

JBB quoted my post and replied “RD SUX”

Later some haters were posting it everywhere trying to get some action going against me.

I made and JBB made 1000’s of stickers over the years and gave them away to anyone that wanted them. lol. They ended up everywhere.

The trick the haters of the world never understand is ya take the thing they are trying to do and wear it as a badge of honor.. it not only takes the wind out of their sails.. it puts a lot in yours

Pretty sure that was before I joined. I think the threads that have really gotten traction are when the poster is caught in an obvious lie or doesn't know what they are talking about yet they dig in and double down.
Someone posted a sticker that said "caution this car converts money to noise" I made the comment change car to boat and it would be perfect.
Couple days later JBB sends me a PM asking for my address, stack of those stickers in the mail.
