My cousin is friends with the owner of Bull. So he’s hooking me up.
I bought my 38" BBQ/Frig/Doors off costco.com. It goes by name of Urban Islands made by Bull. Smokin deal....a year ago. Very happy with it so far. Mr. Keck forgets to tell you Oh! You wanted appliances for your new outdoor island...Well that's not included!!! :p

Fortunately for me we had that conversation early on.

Question -
What is the rule for doors - gates - access to the back yard pool area?
Say door out of master bedroom towards pool area.
Patio slider patio etc
Taller than normal door knobs handles etc

I know fences need to be 5 /6 ft tall from outside your property
I could be wrong but I believe I have to karma on the doors that trigger a constant alarm??

I’m sure @Melloyellovector xan expand on the requirements.

I thought and I’m sure NOT sure today but ya need HIGH door knobs “ pool safe “ (above a chid reach ) or an alarm on doors that had access to the pool or a fence around the pool.

oh and your OOL & Back yard is going to look great….. just sure there isn’t any Pee in it….

lol

cheers

Doors that exit to pool area need door alarm only in Ca.
gates must swing away from pool, self closing and latching
garage man doors if exit to pool some cities ok w alarm, some cities want spring and latch like a gate

Now on top of that for secondary safety they require either, a safety cover, pool fencing, or floating alarm

Made a few unique changes which I feel fit is well. We extended the bench to wrap around the spa and tie into the second step.

This made for much more seating area when hanging out. It also made a small shelf out of the first step for very small kids and dogs to chill on. Great small change that will suit our use much better.

On the far end Tim was able to flush the skimmer and auto fill into the wall which made it a little wider and now will work for a place for people to lay out.

Looks great. Our pool was completed when I was 10. We filled it with garden hoses, our's and the neighbors. I got up around 4am and saw it was mostly full, so I jumped in. My parents heard the splash and rushed out. My Dad was pissed. Said something about it not being cured. WTF? How was me swimming in it going to affect that BS curing? He had no answer.

Hope you have some jumpers. They are memorable times. Congrats, your pool is awesome. Enjoy!

My boys are 18-2.0. Until sure there will be plenty of jumping. And parties.

Nice. My shotcrete has been delayed again, hopefully Tuesday now. I’m glad to see someone is getting theirs done 👌🏼
I knew going into this it was a “loose” timeline. When I asked how long the project would take the response was….”it won’t be Nexgen fast”. 😂 in my world everything is “yesterday” I’m happy sitting back and watching it happen. If we hadn’t had just let it happen the whole auto fill and filter deal would’ve been this ugly hump thing. That I was a never happy with.

Although I’m anxious to get it done…..I’m stoked letting Tim do his thing and giving him the creative freedom to do what he does best. Now if I get to do his AC redo….he’s gonna have to let me do my thing 😉😂

Looks really good! I like the addition of the step that wraps around the spa. You can never have too much seating.

A lot has been going on the last couple weeks. Trenches are filled in. Conduits ran for electrical audio, etc. coping forms are built. Things are starting to take shape.

Tim was even able to work in a fire pit for the wife. I’ve been letting Tim make a lot of the decisions. As this is his expertise. Been happy with them all so far.
