I've got a ski nautique 196. I couldn't afford my v-drive twin turbo schiada so I figured I'd billet out the nautique and just pretend it's my 21RC!

I would say because you can't finance it. People with cabbage for hot rods are rare today.

He takes trades plus cash. I was hoping to drive this beast in 2 weeks, never drove a v-drive. I know it tows great with that brand new trailer and leaves my boat behind in no time.

I get it. But it has been my recent experience that people who want overpowered V-Drives have one already, or get them built.

It was such in my case anyway. I didn't have the cash (or trade) to buy, so I had to build.

Trust me... I would have jumped on it a year ago. I was fortunate I had a motor or I would have been another $30k into it.

It's a steal... And I love the boat. I just know that if I were to sell mine, I would need to be patient.
