Occasionally i get calls out of the blue for jobs that aren't even close to being marine or performance related, In this type of economy you gotta do it all :thumbsup

Here are some door handles i just finished for a retail store at the Venetian canal shops. Cut from 3/8" stainless steel, tig welded onto 2" long stainless pins, also some decorative caps to cover the cap screw from the back side.

Venetian and Channel store = charge the crap out of them:D:skull

If they can charge $150 for some perfume your handles have to be worth 10K:cool::champagne:

Very nice work. What abrasive or material do you use to polish them with?

These ones run somewhere around $400-$500 per handle

Very nice :thumbsup

But isn't that a boatload of torque on the backside? Glass thick enough to handle it?

Thick ass tempered glass, it looks like 3 layers of glass where you look through where the glazer put the bolt holes. The doors are about 5/8" thick.

That is a smokin deal, as an example a solid brass 4" chrome Baldwin hindge with a ball tip kit for an interior door cost $100. per hindge. I'm thinking you could have easily charged $2500 for that handle set.:smackhead

It amazes me what people pay for the Baldwin name. I diid a mortis lock with dummy & flushbolts on Wends. that the customer could have saved over half the cost if they used Emtek. The quality of Baldwin has gone way down in the past few years too. I agree also, those handles are easy $2500!

I bidthe job originally for insides and outs, but the way the store operates at this location they leave the doors open in a locked position during business hours, no need for handles on both sides.

Decorative caps are held in place with silicone covering allen head bolts.

I love custom work. Thanks for posting it. Did you glue the caps on the bolts or use a socket head bolt with a set screw?:thumbsup

I'm bidding some Rocky Mountain handsets for a home now, close to $700.00 per set. This should be a nice one. I agree, Balwin is not what they were, I move lots of Emtek, Great product.

Those are Bad ass Racey, definately worth much more the next time.
