Got an update from Dale yesterday that he has made some bottom changes and interior changes to the RPM molds that he recently acquired..

And the larger news is his twin outboard cats that he has been tooling are well underway!

He is tooling a 35 & a 40

rumor has it they are built with unobtainium.......hope it does, we need a jump in design
looks like cnc tooling...........differences side to side will be better, if not dead nuttz, something conventional tooling lacks

Guessing that’s a new boat with the 450’s. I know they built a few with OB’s. The numbers weren’t as impressive as i would have thought. That hull moves out on big single power.
Looking forward to see what they do with the lineup. More competition is mo better.

He has been in the boat game for a while. He looked at the books and was a buyer for Eliminator at one point. He was involved with that european boat MFG. I can't think of the name off the top of my head.

At first glance the 1st picture looks similar to the RPM Boats.

Dave said he also acquired the RPM molds.... That first pic is a RPM boat, the others might be the Victory ones who know..... They had came out awhile back and never heard from again...

AHHHHHH, the supply chain problem. Funny how DCB, Eliminator, Nordic and others don't seem to have those issues.......

Victory is from Dubai, for some reason the royals over there just decided to stop selling them. No real reason was given to my knowledge?

I’d like to know more about that as well.

I know the white RPM doesn’t have a center pod, I never heard about it being stretched though. Usually cats go wider not longer, interesting.

Dont know anything about a stretch mod, but the molds left laveycraft 2+ years ago so who knows what happened after that. I never saw any builds after.

Not sure the Dondel dash pieces are an "upgrade" but thats personal preference they do have a flat spot to place a phone or something when not running.

It's using the "new" gunwhale inserts built at lavey. This boat doesn't have fiberglass seatbacks.

Not surprised its white because you have to do extensive mods to the back pf the boat for twin OB's unless dale built a new upper

This is just from what I saw on instagram so I can't say this is legit or the real story. On one of his posts the Victory UAE guys commented saying that those boats are not real victory boats and he was not allowed to say they were. So I'm not sure if there was confusion when he set up the whole agreement with them about importing the hull and then building them here. In my head I think they agreed to sell them the hulls and he could build and do whatever he wanted with them but he could not sell them labled as a true Victory boat. I'll see if i can find the post and screenshot it

That is a no. Has Chris helped Dale? Yes on many occasions. But Racer X is Dale’s own thing that is using the RPM 26’ molds which is now his and branded by Dale and being built by Dale’s people. I wish Dale the best! That 26 is one heck of a boat.

We were at Glamis when BLM impounded all of the Racer cars including the one Dale was driving for "having no VIN #" - 100% money grab by the feds. It took a lot of money, lawyers etc. to get those cars back. It seems like he decided that was the straw that broke the camel's back because we have never seen him at Glamis since then.

Taste is such an interesting thing. I’ve always thought the RPMs looked amazing
