I am so sorry for your loss, this is something that no parent should have to endure.
We lost our oldest son at the age of 19, it was 10 years ago on the 15th of Dec, i truly wish i had some words of comfort that would help you through this, sadly i do not, but to try to deal with the loss one day at a time.
If there is any thing i can do or help out in any way i would gladly do so, even if you just need to talk to someone who has been there and with the help of friends and family have survived the most tragic loss that a person could, please PM me and i will send you my number.
John
On top of what I and others have previously said, you should be able to take some solace in the way you've handled yourself. Inconsequential as it may seam, I commend your behavior; and that is an inspiration in itself....
Awful news Rvrkid. Of all posts I ever read, these are always the hardest to reply to. There is no wittiness that can capture or change the presence of melancholy. Be strong for your son as he would have been strong for you. You have a great support group here at RDP. Everyday is a gift and should be treated as such. Take care my friend.
RIP Dylan.
RVRKid - my sincerest condolences to you and your family for this sad sad loss.
I've been reading your earlier posts about Superman's recent condition. Between the lines... it seems to me that you are handling the situation as well as any father possibly could.
May God Bless Dylan.
