WELCOME TO RIVER DAVES PLACE

Question. Is our current US populations behavior toward Canadian folks aggressive?

Aside from muttering to myself about asshole snowbirds when someone blind merges at 15mph in front of me in Havasu I can’t imagine any actual aggression at Canadians. Most of the crappy snowbird drivers are from the US anyway. 😂 loved my week in Kelowna and that was during cold weather. I would love to take my boat up there one summer and run on the Okanagan but my wife said there was no way she would ever want to be on a trip towing that far. That glassy lake would be the perfect place to set the world water speed record.

About 30% of our park is Canadian. No aggression from either side. There are a lot selling their units, but most were for sale before the election. The exchange rate is what is making them sell. As they get older they can't afford it. Well that is guess, but some have said that.

Me personally, don't really think about it. My feelings are that the ones who are canceling are not wanting to support America by spending time or money here. Unless that person from Canada said "eh" I wouldn't even know they were from Canada.
I'm with you on that one it's kind of like racism the only thing that keeps racism going is people. At the end of the day we're all human beings and should be treating each other as such.

It seems to me there's just a lot of unhappy people in general on this side of the boarder so they are easily annoyed and react accordingly....grumpy. Whomever they are interacting with at the moment gets to absorb their grief. Just human nature I'd say.

The LOONIE is worth 70 cents / The Canucks are Furious about this and Blame America / The upside is all their Hot Women Love us ...😎
Correction; 1 CAD = 0.69799 USD ;):p:D:mad:, haha

We are going downhill fast. Hoping a newer PM [ Polivievre ] coming in, after this unelected fucker Carney will be gone!

Has Pierre Poilievre ever had a job?

As a teenager, Poilievre had a job at TELUS doing corporate collections by calling businesses. He later worked briefly as a journalist for Alberta Report, a conservative weekly magazine. At the University of Calgary, he studied international relations, graduating in 2008.

Trudeau's only job was, being a drama teacher! :p 🤣

Trudeau is a joke. PM Mark Carney is an Oxford educated economist with a PhD. He was an investment banker who was the Governor of the Bank of Canada as well as the Bank of England. I would guess he is somewhat more qualified than someone that did phone collections 25 years ago.

So I'm taking, you're a fan of Carney? He is Trudeau 2.0, a pawn of Klaus Shwab's WEF, just like puppet Trudeau.
Carney's claim of modernizing England banking system.
Here's one, if you want to know more about your more qualified candidate.

Carney may have better knowledge about banking, but could he pull a rabbit out of the bag to fix our declining dollar?
I don't think so. I'll quote Einstein; " Imagination is more important than [ Carney's ] knowlege", what he got from Oxford.;)

I've noticed more coming from Canadians against Americans. The US border towns around here are ghost towns in regards to Canadian shoppers. Bellingham, Lynden, Sumas all make major bank from taxes paid by Canadian shoppers. Border traffic is down 30% to these places. Grocery stores here are flying banners "Canadian owned and operated". It is Whopper Weds at BK and also welfare day. The day welfare checks are handed out. No line at BK when usually its a major traffic jam in the parking lot. Liquor stores here have removed American booze from the shelves. Its crazy!!!!

We have a couple of western Canada transplants in our office. Really smart guys and hard workers. After the Trump Tariff dust up started and the Candian hockey team beat the US, he was talking smack. He said he was Canadian and prancing around with his index finger saying Canada was #1, I responded with "don't you mean #.70%?".

He didn't get it at first, when I mentioned the exchange rate he did.

In my experience western Canadians are left leaning but really cool people, in to cars, guns, love to party. Been friends with a Canadian couple for going on 30 years, Steve owns his own commercial construction company ( commercial interior construction) and is a major Pontiac enthusiast. Last time I was at his place he had 15+ cars, mostly Pontiac firebirds, but also had several Harleys, a bunch of antique outboard engines, a couple of rat rods he built in his spare time and a wood boat from the late 50's with a Hemi and V drive that he was just starting to restore.

Been on several vacations over the years from WA State to Cancun and always seemed to connect with a happy, fun group of Canadians to hang out with. They are great people in my experience. Easiest way to identify them is the slight accent.

Lets face it, majority of the policians are two faced liars, both sides of our mutual borders. Don't know where you're located, I'm in the South Okanagan. Carney announced that the carbon tax will be gone first day he's in office. Well, carbon tax on fuel at the stations stood about 28 cents per liter. Now, I've noticed some gas staions show $1.51 cent/liter from 1.53 cent/liter, it's higher in Vancouver.
We're also taxed on our home heating [ natural gas ] and other hidden stuff, added to the mix. It doesn't look good on Carney so far.

I don’t believe there is any Canadian animosity toward Americans - there seems to be general respect from both sides. I believe the problem Canadians have is with the World’s Biggest Bullshit King - POTUS
You're not president

Your esteemed leader just gave an interview with Laura Ingraham on Fox - worth watching if you would like see what a demented buffoon looks like
You said "Worlds biggest bullshit king", that's you. Literally just heard that Trump's approval rating is at 49%. Your esteemed leader biden never had that, not even close.

Literally anything Trump says that can be turned into a negative is blasted non stop in an attempt to divide people regardless of class, gender or color or nationally.
The media was successful in this regard to many Canadians and low IQ Americans.

It has become lets pit Canadians against Americans. No winner here, but the media just wants more hate aimed at Trump.
