Honestly freaked me out for a second as was reading about the attempted Netanyahu assassination. Haven’t been reading news so you never know what’s escalating. One of my favorite airplanes. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Those flights are all training flights for them.Pure awesomeness!
I'm actually surprised they let 2 of them fly in the same vicinity of each other - based purely on how $$$$$$ they are.
Real life "Maverick" Dark Star kind of people...that's impressive stuff, like being an astronaut without the fame.I have a good friend that was an A12 pilot. I'm humbled that he considers me his friend. I'm sure most of you won't understand, but look it up.
That's cool...one of my favorite days. Grew up going to the parade as a kid. Our tradition for about the last 20 years is we go over to Orange Grove about 5:00 AM, walk up and down enjoying the floats, coffee and the bands/horses staging on the side streets. We then head over to the overpass and watch the flyover to kick off the year! Usually back home by 10:00 AM or so having a kick-ass brunch watching the parade on TV with the commentary and bowl games the rest of the day with a crap load of food throughout the afternoon.I work the rose parade every yr (~36 hrs straight) and when they do the flyover it makes staying up allllllllll of those hours worth it!!
F’n ‘merica!
The Ardvark is one of the most feared planes in the sky todayView attachment 1441174 View attachment 1441175 View attachment 1441176 View attachment 1441177 View attachment 1441178 View attachment 1441179 View attachment 1441180 For a minute I forgot there was the Texas v Georgia game around the corner. Glad I remembered or I would think we had bigger issues when these go screaming by full throttle.
Correct. Lancer.I may be wrong about it being the FB111 after looking more closely it apears to be the B1B Lancer, also very highly feared
Thats awesome. These guys were definitely low skirting the roofs of downtown. iPhone doesn’t do justice to how low they were. And they were burnin fuel.I grew up an Air Force brat. Those used to do touch and go's and buzz us in the playground as we would be at recess at School on base. I swear I could see the pilots faces, thats how low they would be! It was just another day at school!
